I loved my haircut from Jesse! 🙂 I heard of Jesse from two guy friends of mine who highly recommended him (for being "super cool and chill") but I was a little unsure with it being for my long hair (I’ve always gone to women for my haircuts). But he was so great - definitely gave me what I was looking for in terms of my hair, and on top of that he’s got tons of hair advice if you ask him and is just all around very easy to talk to. Would definitely come back and recommend him for all hair!

Only leaving a 4 star review because Jessie requested a 1 star review to make his Google reviews more "authentic" 😂. However I can’t do that because we had a great experience. He was able to fit in 3 of us with one days notice and we are all very satisfied with our haircuts! The salon is cozy and homey, clean and decorated simply with plants and good books. The star of the show is the shop cat Munji who is sweet and friendly. Jessie is also very friendly and talkative and will give you the best advice on the haircut for your hair type. He knows Asian hair of all kinds. My hair is straight and he recommended a good haircut for me, and my sisters hair is wavy/curly, and he also cut a flattering curtain bang on her. He gave us free washes and also spent a lot of time on styling at the end. Truly a 5 star experience, but deducting 1 star only because I can’t bring Munji home (and bc he asked) 🤪 EDIT: I have to bring it back to 5 stars. Following up on my review a few months later, I have gotten so many compliments on my haircut from Jesse! He truly did a great job that LASTS - it doesn’t just look good after the styling but even when I put in no effort or styling. I think Ive found a home base for all future haircuts from now on.

Love this salon, my kids (12-14) love it here too. Jesse never fails us with his amazing cuts and styling! He really knows what he’s doing and gives great advice to keep our hair healthy. Never going anywhere else!! photos right after the kids’ cuts 😍👍

I’ve been coming here to get my haircuts from JZ for several years now. Finding a great stylist who truly cares about his customers and takes pride in his craft is extremely difficult, which is why even after moving out of the city, I still get my haircuts here whenever I’m back in town. Easily the best hairstylist I’ve ever met. He never misses with his recommendations, is very patient when I try to explain my instructions and will provide honest feedback on whether or not a particular style will look the way I envision or not. If you’re in the Plano area, you should not look for any other hairstylist.

Jesse and his mom are incredibly sweet and beyond amazing at what they do! I got both a perm and a haircut, and they both turned out even better than what I imagined. They were so kind and genuinely dedicated to making sure that I was happy with the final result. I'll definitely be coming here again in the future!!

Got a haircut from here for the first time yesterday and it was a fantastic experience. Wife (typically a harsh critic) says J killed it, absolutely loves the cut. Thanks brother!

We have been coming here for well over a year now. Absolutely the best service, prices, and conversations around. Great Salon location for the area with plenty of parking. I simply can not express enough how much my entire family enjoys coming here. The atmosphere is very soothing, welcoming, and upbeat! If you do not have a regular salon, try this place. You might find a new Salon home, I know we did.
