Salon Iaomo

I got my haircut on 2/7/2026 at this salon and was VERY impressed! The ladies were all so very friendly, welcoming and professional! This was my first time at this salon and Linda did an outstanding job on my hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she did everything she could to cut it just the way I like it. I will definitely be coming back here for my next haircut!❤️

I've been searching for a stylist since moving to Pittsburgh five years ago. I have fine, thin hair that doesn't easily hold a style, and I hadn't found a colorist I really liked. Salon Iaomo is a relaxed and friendly place, and Cathy is a great stylist. She listens, and she's very skilled with both color and cut. Highly recommend!

When dealing with alopecia it can be an embarrassing situation. I wanted a salon that would treat whatever thinning hair I have left with gentleness. Meeting with Maureen for a consultation enabled me to learn that a topper may just help fit the bill when my scalp gets cold in normal cool weather. She was very caring and understanding. We discussed the pros and cons of human hair vs synthetic and that they will also service human hair. She will also color and shape my existing hair. The salon has 3 private rooms as well as a public area for customers. Free popcorn as well as canned drinks and coffee are available. They do notify by text of future appts. Any no shows are subject to a cancellation fee. The salon offers many services and can be pricey however when paying for quality it is worth the investment. Cards and cash are accepted. Checks are not. Looking forward to working with them in the future.

Jess is incredible! I’m as thrilled with this hair as I’ve ever been! My color and extensions look amazing! I highly recommend Salon Itami! I’ve had my hair done at this salon, for years. Jess is amazing! She does my cuts, colors, and most importantly, my extensions beautifully every time. I can't exaggerate just how wonderful Jess is and the whole staff are every time I'm there. I highly recommend this salon and Jess specifically!

Excellence Maureen was super knowledgeable and skilled! Great job of getting me a great wig fit and cut after not having hair for 6 years due to alopecia! Awesome and the best!!! Thank you Maureen!!!

I decided to try a new salon after about a year of dealing with my gray roots always turning out a bit lighter than the ends. Cathy did a great job with my color, listening to the issue and correcting it. My hair is same color from root to end and less brassy! I also was looking for a lighter, not greatly shorter cut. Cathy also accommodated my wishes, understanding why my hair felt heavy and corrected it. I will definitely return!

Love, Love,Love! Roberta was wonderful! I've had nothing but good hair days ever since. Highly recommend!
