I went to Ariel for volume extensions. I have extremely thin hair and was nervous how they would turn out and if they would be noticeable. Ariel did and amazing job and I got exactly what I was looking for. I highly recommend for anyone looking to get extensions!!!

The haircut was good, but the stylist (Dean) was a bit aggressive while drying my hair, burnt my forehead a little. Also, their payment system is messed up, no breakdown of prices on the receipt they will not tell you the exact price, you can ONLY pay tip by cash or venmo weirdly. They have atm in their shop but don't have a system to pay tip by card??, such a waste of time to withdraw cash separately and the minimum amount you can withdraw is $20, very inconvenient and unprofessional, considering they are in business for a long time.

I have been seeing Ariel almost as long as she's been working at Dean's (many years now, more than 5?). I have since moved out of state and still make sure to make a point to have Ariel do my cut and bang highlights (brown to blonde/platinum silver) whenever I know I'm coming back to Pgh. I have not found her combo of quality of knowledge, personality, and blending abilities in both cut and color anywhere else! She's the best and the staff is always nice. I come out feeling like myself again!

Gabe gave me the best cut I've had in years. Listened to my needs and questions and also weighed in helpfully with his professional opinion. My hair looks and feels so happy and healthy and it's low maintenance! Will definitely be back.
