I had a wonderful experience at [Capristo]! The space was clean, calming, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. My waxing session was quick, professional, and surprisingly comfortable. The technician SHELLY was so kind, attentive, and made sure I felt at ease throughout the whole process. I really appreciated how detail-oriented and hygienic everything was. The results were smooth and exactly what I was hoping for. It’s clear they care about both quality and customer satisfaction. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for a clean, professional place for waxing!

I have gone here for years with no problems ever. Until I decided to get my hair dyed for the first time there. I went to my usual lady and asked for a natural looking balayage. The first time she did it it came out and you couldn't even tell it was done. It looked the exact same as my natural hair. (Not to mention she also cut my hair unevenly) I contacted her and she apologized and offered to fix it, Great! (You would think) Upon going back to "fix it" this was the result. You can see that it was lazily bleached (there's even random spots towards my root??) the color was a copper ish blonde. I was EXTREMELY disappointed and had to go elsewhere to get it fixed AGAIN. What I was most upset with was the fact that I emailed the salon these pictures with no response back. They lost a loyal customer and I suggest you stay clear of this place if you need your hair to actually be taken care of.

I got a mani and pedi from Mei Lin. Not only did she do great work but she was also incredibly kind and sweet. The atmosphere was also great - it was a pleasure to interact with everyone working there. Highly recommend!

Go to Lydia for all your wax services!! I’ve been going to her since 2010, when I received my first salon Brazilian wax! Lydia made the experience so easy and comfortable! She’s very professional and has a lot of experience, so if it’s your first time too I recommend her! Hands down! I’ve tried other places, however NO ONE compares! Also, the salon is cute, clean & comfy. All the staff are friendly & greet you whether you are their client or not! As long as I’m in the Pittsburgh area, I will forever visit Capristo!

I have been going to Capristo Salon for the past two years. The environment is relaxing, the salon is clean and trendy, the staff are friendly and helpful, there is a great selection of music, and you get free tea and other beverages. Julia is the absolute BEST hairstylist I have ever had! She is super friendly and very knowledgeable on all things hair. I always leave there feeling beautiful... and the best part is, my hair stays looking great for months! My mother and sister also get their hair done by Julia, and they love her just as much! Call and book with Julia, you will NOT find anyone else in Pittsburgh as talented as her!

I've been going to Capristo for years, Sarah is my stylist! I've referred all of my friends to her! She really knows what will look good and make you feel good, you'll leave the salon feeling amazing every time! She's so talented and on top of that she's fun to hang out with it! I'd highly recommend her!

Sarah is the best of the best y’all! I’ve been to a bunch of different salons (across the country and in Pittsburgh) and let me tell ya- she’s amazing! I never have to worry whenever I am in her chair. Not only do I look better after- I truly feel better! The conversation and the head massage during the shampoo - heavenly! The staff always greets you with a smile and the coffee is always warm. I am so very glad I found Capristo Salon and more importantly- Sarah! I even trusted her so much I allowed her to chop off 10 inches of my hair to donate- she’s just that good! Do yourself a favor and check her out- she’s worth it y’all!
