I hate to be this person, but I’m going to write this. I really wanted to love this salon. The ladies are nice, the atmosphere was great, and they have a cute setup. I just moved to Pittsburgh this summer and I’m in search for a braider, and decided to try this salon after seeing the reviews. I booked with Ashley to get knotless braids. When I got home, I realized my middle part was crooked (photos below). As you can see, it does not line up with my nose/middle of my forehead. I asked my boyfriend, mother, and cousin just to see if they saw something different than what I was seeing, and they all agreed that it was crooked. I called the shop back politely informing them of this and seeing if there was any way that my part could be fixed. They said they’d call right back. I then got a call back and it was Ashley, basically saying in an argumentative tone that she put my part in the middle. I told her yes, it’s in the middle, but it’s crooked and slanted. I even told her I wasn’t trying to be difficult, but she basically kept saying in the same argumentative and hostile tone that she put it in the middle and said she can look at it but doesn’t know what I want because she put it in the middle and to send her a pic. She also mentioned she didn’t have time the next day to do the braids over. I sent a pic to her and she said she still doesn’t see what’s wrong and that it looks straight to her, but NOW she can do the braids over tomorrow morning. I decided after that conversation to forget about it. After that conversation, I was so uncomfortable with her and her disrespectful tone that I didn’t want her services anymore. I told her never mind, and blocked the number to avoid any further hostility. I’ll find someone else to fix it. As a paying AND tipping customer, it’s truly wrong to treat someone this way when they express their dissatisfaction with something.

The salon is beautiful. I loved the atmosphere. I did not like my hair. I received a haircut (short hair), and was looking for something funky. But I didn’t get that. And when I got home, my sides, the faded part, had bald spots. I think for the first appointment, there needs to be a consult. And if the person you’re scheduled with cannot do those styles, then someone else should. Again, the place was very nice. The people were very nice. My hair, was disappointing

After looking for a salon for some years (trust issues) I’m glad I finally tried BeBe Lee. I got box braids for the first time and it was a great experience. Warm, inviting, and very chill. Definitely booking again

Love this salon. First of all, the decor is amazing. Then to add to it, there is always fresh coffee, expresso, water or red or white wine. Plus cheese, crackers and fruit. Service is excellent, always exit feeling beautiful and confident. My stylist is Samira, whom is kind, professional, prompt and has superb hairstyling skills. She is the " best" and I enjoy her every appointment. The owner and other staff are very friendly and make me feel welcomed and comfortable. I found my hair home and stylist " for life", I couldn't be more happier.
