I’ve been coming to Christina to do my hair since 2021 for both hair cuts and color. I don’t always choose the most simplest of colors, but she is very knowledgeable in her chemical processes and I always leave Happy. Every time I’m in her chair, I always remind her that I trust her and follow her guidance to make sure that I get the best outcome of what I’m looking for and I’m never disappointed. She is Super friendly and professional she makes sure that when she treats your hair, she doesn’t over process to the point of damaging your hair where other places don’t care about that. Now, even my daughter comes to get her hair colored and haircut with Christina. Prices are also very reasonable.

I’ve been on my business trip in Montebello for two months. The last time I had my hair cut was in early November. So, I searched Google and Yelp for hair salons nearby. I am so lucky to find this one. Christina is professional hairstylist. Hair salons in Shanghai rarely have female hairstylists. I am not good at specific English words of haircut like the style, color. We had some talk and Christina told me just trust her. It’s an amazing experience. I LOVE my new color and highlight. Highly recommend! I am sure I will be back here when I back to US. Customer service is awesome. Everyone is so nice!

I am so in awe right now! Christina is absolutely AMAZING! I really thought there was no hope for me and Christina literally performed a miracle! My hair looks and feels fantastic! If you want look and feel beautiful, Christina is definitely your girl ❤️

I took my wife there and she was very happy with the service. They explained that not every hair color is suitable for different textures… especially curly hair. My wife has curly hair and they even helped her out with what products to put In her curly hair. She’ll be back plus I’ll book for a men’s cut there as well.

I was not originally going to write a review, but the more I look at my hair the more disappointed i am. I came in about a week before my appointment for a consultation. I showed Christina exactly what i wanted, she seemed confident she could do it so i booked an appointment with her. Christina was very nice, but she seemed rushed when I got there for my appointment. She had a client with bleach in her hair while she started working on my hair. She told the client 15 minutes, meaning she was rushed to get bleach in my hair. I came in for a ombre from black to red ( the photo i posted in this review is the photo I showed and sent to her upon consultation) She was around half done bleaching my hair when she told me she's not doing that. Instead, she showed me a picture of a girl she did within the week and said she liked the blend so she's doing that instead. I was taken back and maybe I should have said something then, but I'm not a confrontational person and didn't know how to address it. Maybe that's my fault, but I'm not sure she could have gone back to fix all she had done at that point. (Her other client was waiting at least 15-20 minutes past the original 15 minutes she told her. )As i have bleach sitting in my hair, she begins to finish with that client. At one point she came back to add the black, making her other client wait again. The bleach sat in my hair for a minimum of an hour and a half. Bleach shouldn't be in hair for more than 50 minutes max as it's very damaging. My hair was not a dark color, it was virgin hair, and lightens very easily. After her client left, she continued my hair, and when she finished, it was nothing like what I asked, there was no ombre effect, you can see weird lines where she didn't blend the bleach at all. My bangs are uneven, my haircut as a whole is uneven. I wanted a straight bob like shown in the photo, and it has a point in the front of both sides, I wish she would have rescheduled me if she was going to have to rush. I paid $220 on my hair just to come home and find many mistakes. I have made an appointment elsewhere to get it fixed, but I know there's a chance they can't fix the color because she used permanent dye. My hair is very important to me, and it's very disappointing to get home and dislike how it looks. UPDATE: I went to my hair appointment to try to get my hair fixed after all this. They were able to straighten out the cut but could not touch the color as she damaged my hair so bad from leaving the bleach in for an hour and a half. Before my appointment I did 3 Ion hair repair masks, and it still wasn't enough to repair the damage caused by Christina. After all this, all I can say is if you notice something isn't right at a hair appointment dont continue service. Ask for a rinse and leave. RESPONSE TO OWNER: You did leave bleach my hair that long. Saying it doesn't need to be that light for red doesn't fix the damage caused to my hair that im still dealing with over a month later. Next time you take a client maybe do just that. Take 1 client. I payed for my time with you and your focus wasn't on just me. You didn't set a timer you randomly came over to check my hair. I had my phone out and watched the time go by while you worked on her. You could not blend it better or fix this. You put permanent dye in my hair and trying to bleach that could cause my hair to fall out. I'm not going to risk that outcome going back to your salon. Thankyou.

Amazing service! 😊 I recently got a bad haircut from super cuts and I needed my hair fixed asap! Christina was able to fit me into her schedule and she gave me the bob hair cut that I really wanted ❤️ I have tons of hair so it can be difficult to work with, but she made it happen and gave me such a pretty hair cut 😊 Great service and very friendly staff

Great place for hair cut and coloring. It’s a hidden gem. Christina is awesome, she made time for me on her day off and was very patient, working with my cut and style since I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Good conversationalist, I will definitely be a repeat customer. Her prices are reasonable.
