Been going to Johnny Ming since 2018 only person I trust for our perms. Got my daughters hair looking gorgeous

Very disappointed. This place is now under new ownership. The new barber Johnny does not listen nor care about what his customer wants and will try to force them to cut based on what is easy for him. My mom and I came in for a trim and while trying to show a picture and describe to him what we wanted he kept cutting us off and kept insisting that we needed layers and stated he can't cut based off an image or description. After telling him no he kept touching and swinging our hair trying to get us seated for a cut we don't want. We immediately left because that was a clear sign he obviously does not know what he is doing. If you dont know just say you don't know. It is a dishonor to try and force customers to get a haircut based on what you can do. It may also be the fact that hes an older gentleman that have trouble seeing so his attention to detail is very limited.

Ming used to really good in old day, but now price went up sky rocket but skill went down big rig.

You pay cheap you get cheap I've been coming to this place since 2002 Mings Hair Salon they experts on cutting baby's hair and kid's hair. BUT! That was 15 years ago. The person is old now & can’t see that good anymore so when he’s cutting your hair, he pulls your hair. He cuts a little bit too much and since he doesn’t speak English, that good he does a different style or he chooses the style that he thinks it’s easier for him to cut. He cuts it slow and you end up with a very sloppily hair cut.

I got a perm from this place befor it was soooo pretty and curly I went back to get my hair perm again and my hair is so messed up I started crying when I got in the car I ask for big curlys I got very small curlys and the front is straight I will be taking my services somewhere else I been going there for years this is the first time I left disappointed

Unprofessional, low quality, unreliable. Barber refused to adjust cut while he was still cutting my hair the first time I visited. Recently scheduled an appointment for 1pm, only for them to ask that I wait till 1:45pm when I arrived. Was told "I don't want you" and hung up on after I called to rectify my grievances.
