Madison Avenue Salon & Day Spa

I have been going to this wonderful salon since it opened on Ray td. I was a Prek teacher at St. John bosco and I heard about the salon from parents and teachers.my sons got their hair cuts my husband and myself all these years.elaine does my hair now and I just love her! ! The lovely front desk girls are always pleasant smiling greeting me as I come to the salon. Wonderful salon!

I’ve gotten my haircut here for the past 8 years. It’s always done wonderfully and I’ve loved the results every single time! My hair has become more curly and I went in recently requesting layers and bangs. My bangs were wonderful and styled perfectly. However, my hair itself was not. The hair cut was great. Following the cut, my hairdresser decided to put cream and product in my hair instead of blow drying it, like normal. I left with wet hair, which I was okay with. I had no issue leaving with my natural curls, waiting to dry. 2 hours after the appointment my hair was completely knotted and matted with product. I had no curls, my whole head was full of stringy hair. My sister, who has very curly hair, has had multiple issues with the way the stylists here do her hair. She has also left with heavy product that leads to weighed down and knotty hair. The hair cuts and blow outs here are fantastic. However, the stylists seem to not know how to style anything but straight hair. My hairdresser even admitted that she did not know how to deal with curly hair. If the hair isn’t thick, straight, and able to hold curls, they can’t do it. My sister has even requested hair dressers that specialize in curly hair, yet no improvement to her cuts. Besides this, the salon is perfect. I love the way they cut my hair, just not the way they style it and the lack of ability to deal with different hair types.

My daughter and I got haircuts by Katrese! Omg, we really loved her work! She’s so great at trimming and making layers! Katrese treated every step with such care and precision. We felt completely taken care of from start to finish! Thanks for such an amazing experience! Their BFF BOGO deal was awesome as well!

I’ve been going to Madison Ave for nearly 20 years, and I can’t recommend them enough! Elaine has been my go-to for hair all this time, and I truly credit her for my lovely locks. I get compliments on my hair constantly, and it’s all thanks to her! She’s gently guided me away from styles that wouldn’t suit me and always steers me toward cuts and colors that work perfectly for my hair type, face shape, skin tone, and lifestyle. She’s even rescued me from a few DIY disasters over the years! Elaine is so good that my daughter now sees her too. Kelly is our brow expert—she does waxing and tinting for both my daughter and me. She always does a fantastic job, and her natural, friendly chatter makes every visit enjoyable. I recently had a party and saw Bethany for a special updo. She did an amazing job! Plus, she’s a fellow Minnesotan who knows the small town I grew up in, which made the appointment even more fun. The front desk staff are always welcoming and kind. Jillian (hope I spelled that right!) greets me with a smile every time I walk in, and there’s another lovely blonde woman whose name I don’t know—but she’s just as friendly and helpful. Madison Ave is a gem. Highly recommend!

This was my first time visiting Madison in years. I booked a haircut with Emma and was VERY happy with the outcome. I have thinning hair and she cut it so it looks thicker and more uniform. She also offered some styling tips, which I appreciated I will definitely book my next haircut with Emma!

Jessi did a great job listening to exactly what my priorities were for my hair (long enough for a ponytail, out of my eyes, layers) and kept refining till I was happy. Loved the salon itself as well - clean, friendly staff. And great facilities.

My stylist, Jessica, was wonderful. She is talented and experienced. Many of the stylists have been there for ten years or more. The products used are professional grade and work wonders. The facility is roomy and clean.
