Wendy was absolutely amazing. She handled my hair with so much care and delicacy—never once rushing the service. She truly took her time, and you can tell she’s very passionate about what she does. Everyone in the salon was so welcoming, and I really enjoyed the Christian worship music playing throughout my visit. It created such a peaceful, uplifting atmosphere. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be coming back.

I got my hair cut for the first time in a year because a friend recommended Xiomara to me. She was so happy with the work that Xiomara did on her hair, the cut and style, the warm and friendly atmosphere. I booked my appointment without a second thought, asked for Xiomara, and wow. She is the sweetest person, she makes you feel so welcomed, she takes pride in her work and makes you feel comfortable the entire time she’s working on your hair. She did an incredibly job, all I could say when she showed me the final look of my hair was "wow". She checks in with you every step of the way, and you can tell that she truly loves the work that she does. I told her that my friend recommended me to her, and she remembered doing her hair! I’m blown away by the service I received today, I just had to leave a review. I’m so happy with my hair. I would recommend Xiomara time and time again after this appointment. I booked an appointment for one of my friends immediately after, and Xiomara fit her in immediately.

Went for the first time today for a long layer cut, and Chavela did an amazing job. She was really sweet and it was evident that she wants her clients to feel comfortable. She took her time to analyze my hair, understand what I wanted and explain the process. Although i reside in NY, I’ll definitely return to see her when I’m back in town

omg. I came here to fix my bangs and get a trim. I was hesitant about the price but Francis was so sweet and the front desk as well. They both helped me and i loved my haircut. I highly recommend francis and this place in general.

Xiomara is such an amazing hairstylist. She colored my hair perfectly and exactly as expected, she did not miss. Absolutely recommend her for everyone. Thank you to the rest of the staff for your service and professionalism ⭐️❤️

My normal hairstylist recently moved away, so I was shopping around for someone new. I decided I would like to support a small business rather than a large corporate style salon. I decided on KRV. When I arrived, the stylist let me know she was running a bit behind with the client before me, and asked someone else that worked at there to shampoo and dry my hair while waiting. I only get my hair done twice a year at most so it is always a treat for me. After the shampoo, the woman kept referring to me as "the gringa cow" in Spanish. I was stunned. After a couple times it dawned on her that I might understand her. She quickly asked me if I knew Spanish, to which a replied "a little" in Spanish. She then started talking to the stylist next to her with relief about how bad it would be if I had understood her. It was quite cruel and I was so deflated and trying to hold back emotion. I had driven 2 hours to this salon for what I hoped was going to be a nice treat for myself. After a while, I was finally passed off to the stylist that was going to cut my hair. She was very nice and did a wonderful job. It is unfortunate that the entire thing was ruined by one unfortunate person’s attitude. I paid for the service a left a nice tip (service was $90 and I tipped $60). Unfortunately, I feel like I can never return.

I got my haircut with chavela a few months ago and this woman gave me the best haircut I've ever had . Another woman blew it out and my blowout was amazing. I will be going back for my fresh cut.
