Hair Dominican Style Salon

I had an interesting experience here. I came here with my sister and 3 cousins very spontaneously to get our hair done before a trip. I want to preface that we don’t speak Spanish. My hair looked very good and was very similar to my inspo pics. We all were very happy with our hair. The issue came with the prices. We feel like we got taken advantage of. For example I got charged for both a trim ($35), a style ($50), and a blow out (maybe somewhere close to $55 according to the bill) which seems excessive because most salons don’t charge separately for a blow out and style. This was very confusing and seemed like a weird way to charge for 2 services when we really only should have been billed for 1. I’m not sure what difference there is between a blow out and a style here. They also charge by length for blow out and my cousin who has hair that falls to her mid back got charged $95 for the blowout which is more expensive then the max price ($75)because they said her hair was past extra long. This did not make sense at all and seemed like the just pulled a random number in order to charge more.One would think that $75 is the max price according to their menu and I would not consider mid back being over extra long.I included photos of pictures below. Overall the hair was done well and we paid the bill but I feel like we did get somewhat taken advantage of because we are not Spanish speakers.

Came in for a blow dry and was taken care of by Nurys she was absolutely great! Super nice, kind and attentive. I asked for a blow with volume and she definitely delivered considering I have pretty long hair which is algo bleached , definitely will be coming back

I visit this salon regularly for my manicure and pedicure, and Cristina always does an excellent job. I really appreciate how patient she is and how she always makes sure I’m happy with the results. She never gets bothered if I ask for recommendations or need something corrected. She cleans the cuticles thoroughly, and if I ever have discomfort with a nail, she knows exactly how to take care of it. I also love the shape and finish she gives to my nails—she’s truly talented. Highly recommended.

I had an incredible experience at Hair Dominican Style. I walked in on a Monday after work at 7:00 PM and the entire staff greeted me with a smile and took me in immediately. Nurys washed and conditioned my hair and that was an experience in itself. The best massage and relaxing moment after a long day at work. I asked for a long layered hair cut and she exceeded expectations. My hair is curly, but I haven’t seen my curls in about a year and with this cut, Nurys brought them back. She then blow dried my hair and it was PERFECTION! This place and Nurys exceeded expectations. I will be returning and will recommended the spot to everyone. The best part everything took 1 hour and I walked out feeling amazing and ready to tackle the week with my new look.

I received a Olaplex treatment, blowout, and trim from Nurys. I was very satisfied with my services. She was very attentive to my needs and concerns and provided exactly what i needed. The wash felt amazing and she even offered me refreshments during my service. I am also a licensed cosmetologist myself and i can say this was a 10/10 service. I will definitely be coming back and referring my friends and family to the salon.
