JV Hair

Terrible experience! Went in there for highlights 11/06/25, Judi (owner) went into great detail as to why I needed lowlights, not highlights. She proceeded to do lowlights on my hair. She made my hair so dark, I told her there were little to no highlights left. I mentioned to her that it was dark, she said give it some time, it will get better. Paid her $125 and left. Next day, I called her to tell her, I was not happy with the way my hair looked, she had wiped out my highlights. She proceeds to tell me that she can give me highlights and gives me an appointment for a week later 11/14/25, to come back. Went back, got the highlights and she expects me to pay for a mistake SHE made putting in lowlights. I tell her I am not paying again, she was the one that insisted I needed lowlights and it did not turn out well. I left her shop. Several days later, I receive a call from a police officer, Pearland Police. Judi has called the police and wants $150, for the highlights, or she's filing charges. Never mind HER bad decision making. Needless to say, she was paid, and this was chalked down to a very bad experience. I would not recommend this shop to my worst enemy.

Go to JV hair and ask for Natasha! I have been seeing her for my haircuts for a few years now! She is truly a stylists stylist! I am a hairdresser myself and she is the only person I trust with my hair! She takes her time with you and makes sure her work is all even and checked. She is so talented and her blowouts are top notch! She is very thorough and will give you the exact haircut you want every single time! She is the best! Thanks girl!!!

Natasha has been my favorite stylist for several years now. She just recently moved over to JV and we love her new location. Beautiful salon and everyone is so helpful and happy. Natasha was awesome as always ♥️!

Judy is so sweet and a great stylist. I made an appointment on a whim as my previous stylist moved. She cut my hair exactly how I asked. She also gave me several tips on styling. I also brought my teenage daughter and she was very happy with her cut. Judy asked her exactly what she wanted and delivered. She has never tried to upsell me products or services. The salon is well maintained. We will be back!!!

All the reviews are true, my entire family including two young girls have been coming here for years and can confirm that Judy is an amazing hair dresser. The appointment only is also awesome because I always get her at the time I need my cut. If you haven't been here yet do yourself a favor and make an appointment.

Since the pandemic I’ve been cutting my own hair. So I was finally able to go get it done better. And I can tell you that Miss Judy is an artist at hair styling!!! She took all those uneven ends and made me look so much prettier. Her shop is super clean, and since she only does hair by appointments, since I’m Stage 4 cancer, I couldn’t think of a safer place to go to. She is friendly, and listened to what I wanted. She’s definitely got a return customer in me. And I have highly recommended Miss Judy to my family and friends!!!
