Kim Sun Young Hair Salon

This is the only hair salon I trust for my hair and perms! This is the third perm I have gotten at the salon and I am always happy with how it comes out. They also use products that don’t seem to damage my hair which is a huge plus. I always make my appointments with Katie, but have heard great things about other stylists here. I’ve added some photos of my hair after which is the "hippie perm". I highly recommend this salon!

I hate leaving bad reviews but unfortunately, this is the worst haircut I’ve ever received. I asked for a TRIM and my hairstylist cut off nearly half the length after I specifically asked to keep the long hair I’ve been growing for years. I have before and after photos to prove this. To make matters worse, when I came home and took a shower the layers I received were completely choppy, uneven, and unblended. When I tried to ask about the length she completely denied that she had cut off a large amount. I cried the whole way home. The women working were very kind but other than that, I cannot recommend this salon.

I love my hair when it’s wavy or curly but I don’t like to do Dutch braids or curl it with the curling iron to give it the curls I want. When I found out about a digital perm I was so glad that I found this place to do it for me. And it looks amazing, feels light and it saves me so much time! Thank you to Rachel who worked on my hair! She did an amazing job , was super friendly and very quick I was so impressed!! ❤️❤️

I got a magic straightening treatment here and I’m so happy with how it turned out! My hair is super smooth, shiny, and feels amazing. Katie was absolutely wonderful — she was friendly, professional, and really knew what she was doing. She listened carefully to what I wanted and made sure everything was perfect. The whole experience was comfortable and relaxing, and I honestly love my hair so much. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend, especially Katie!👍👍

I 100% recommend Kim Shin Young Salon! My hairstylist Jenny is very knowledgeable, super welcoming, and really took the time to understand what I wanted. She made me feel comfortable the entire visit, and the result was beautiful—I absolutely love my hair! 💇🏻‍♀️✨

Haven't had a haircut in 4 years; wanted to donate my hair and get a really good haircut at a salon so took the drive and was super glad I did! Joy cut my hair in line with the donation guidelines as well as gave me a two block haircut, I let her choose as I didn't know what would look best; Super reasonable price and she was skilled and very friendly! I wish they were closer to me! I may have to take the trip just for my haircut moving forward! 10 out of 10! Thank you Joy! Also your local food recommendation was spot on great!

I got a haircut from Nana and I had a great experience. I didn’t say much on what I wanted but she gave me exactly what I needed. She’s very skilled, detail-oriented, and made sure everything looked right before finishing. Definitely recommend Nana to anyone looking for a great haircut to boost their confidence!
