The Rave Hair Salon

I came in today desperate looking for help because I was unhappy with my hair I had done elsewhere. I was hoping they could help me and because I leave for a long vacation soon… the only girl that was there was very cold and I felt like I was bothering her. (I wasn’t trying to be seen right away just make an appointment and show them in person why I was unhappy with what I had.) her friend was very busy on the video chat so I tried to not take up too much of her time. She asked for my number so she could get in touch with me to try and work out the day or a different day… I never heard from her… over all I felt annoying and like a bother to them. Not like a client. I work in customer service and I would never act like this especially blowing someone off that was asking for your help and telling you that she was unhappy with her current hair. You couldn’t even give me an update that maybe today wasn’t a good day. After reading further reviews it seems like communication is very lacking in your company.

Had an appointment for a silk press color block and a trim. The website shows the price and then when I showed up (on time for my appointment) she said that she should have had me come in for a consultation first and the price would change since she seen I had a lot of hair. Which I was willing to pay by the way. Then I waited for over an hour. She never said nothing to me after that. She was still doing someone elses hair. So I left. They can keep the deposit. Will not be going back. Update they sent me back my deposit.

Raven is such an amazing and talented hairstylist. My hair always look very elegant and most definitely worth the price. I always get wonderful complements about my hair. If you want your hair done right come to The Rave!!! you will be absolutely satisfied in a nice, clean and professional environment.

Love my hair by jasmin Garrett ! She got me in even when she was booked and did a great job! I’m not from OKC and needed someone to do me a style with short notice and she did just what I wanted and how I wanted couldn’t ask for better service. Best I’ve ever been to ! Highly recommend!

I hate to give a bad review. BUT....I have been there 4 times and all 4 times they have been late with my appointment. I am not talking about a few minutes I'm talking 30 mins to an hour. The final straw is that I set an appointment to have my hair done for a wedding I was in Saturday. I get to the salon at 3:30pm and had to be at the wedding location at 6:00pm, and the person I had the appointment with was not there when I arrived. I sit there while another beautician tried to contact her to see where she was. The person never showed and the beautician that was there did my hair. I was very disappointed that the person who was suppose to do my hair did not contact me to let me know she was not going to be there. Well I got my hair done & my style barely lasted the wedding. NEVER NEVER AGAIN. I do not know if they treat their friends and family different, but I would not recommend this salon.

Wig goat 🐐! I love every wig ever purchased from Raven! In addition she provides maintenance service as well as wig reconstruction services to increase longevity of your units! Most of these units pictured I’ve had for years and they continue to give! Definitely worth the price!

Salon was nice and the stylist and front satff were courteous and professional but I came in for a corrective color treatment and still I have lots of splotchy areas especially on the underside of my hair😒. Some of the areas that were already bright were rebleached and are now almost white, not what I wanted at all. Im not a complainer and hate to put anything negative out but to be honest the quality was less than. My hair did not get a deep conditiining treatment after the bleaching and toning and even though i dont get my hair done often, any time I have got it bleached I would get a deep condition for the health of my hair. It does look better than when I came in color wise but definitely not worth the money in my opinion. I asked for a blow out and they did not finish the blow out the under sections were very very damp. It was late tonight when they were finishing up so I guess they were just rushing to get out at their closing time. I still tipped but I wont return.
