I had a great experience at Douglas J Hair Salon 01/04/2026. Nolan did an excellent job with my haircut—very professional, attentive, and skilled. He took the time to understand what I wanted and delivered a clean, stylish cut with great attention to detail. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed, and the overall service was top-notch. Highly recommend Nolan if you’re looking for a quality haircut and a great salon experience!

I was recommended to come here for cheap prices and good quality, but I do feel I was lied to. I came for a perm, and the pricing was convinently not mentioned during the consultation, which I have noticed is now a reoccurring amongst other reviewers. I have short hair and have always been able to get a perm for less than $100, with it usually being $60 at my local hair stylist. I paid a grand $265 for a product that cost $20 at most in the box. I will be recommending anyone to stay away from going here in the future because of this shady practice of not making prices clear at any point and convinently hiding it on their website and on-site. $20 max for a perm solution, and according to their indeed, a hair stylist at this corporation makes an average of $33 an hour. This means, at maximum, a 2.5 hour perm like myself should have cost no more than $102.50. Where is all of this money going? As a person with knowledge in the hair industry, save your money and do it yourself. I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know goes through what I went through. There is no excuse for bad practices outside of greed.

Annalise did an amazing job per usual! Friendly, attentive, and helpful. Courtney did an exceptional job on a 90 minute deep tissue massage. Left that place floating. Will be coming back maybe as a yearly birthday present to myself now! Would recommend both.

I have been going to Douglas J for decades (Douglas J himself cut my hair in the 70s) and Jenny has been my stylist for longer that I'd care to admit. Aside from being the sweetest person, she is an absolute wizard with a pair of scissors! She makes my fine, thin hair look abundant and complementary to my face. I trust her completely.

First time going for a pedicure. Nicole did not talk to me at all which would have been OK if service would have been great. When I told her I had an ingrown toenail she hardly did anything. She basically only cut my nails no trimming of cuticle area. Massage was nice. When time to leave she didn't say goodbye or thanks for coming in. Waited several minutes for her to return to take me to front desk and another worker said I could just leave. I would expect more from an upscale salon. Hope it was just a bad day for her.

Jason did an excellent job from start to finish on my daughter Gracie’s long curly hair. He took the time to listen to what she wanted done. He has such a great personality and really cares for his clients. Well worth every dime! He is committed and excellent at his craft.

Had a wonderful afternoon. Brianna was knowledgeable, pleasant, and gave me a wonderful cut. Highly recommend! Also had a massage with Courtney, too! She made the entire experience so wonderful. Will definitely be returning!
