Rebecca Bates is truly exceptional. If you have curly hair and are looking for someone who actually understands it, she is the one. From the moment you sit in her chair, it’s clear she’s incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and passionate about her craft. She took the time to understand my curl pattern, lifestyle, and goals, and the cut she gave me brought my curls to life—perfect shape, bounce, and definition. No frizz, no guesswork, just beautifully cut curls that grow out amazingly well. On top of her talent, Rebecca is warm, professional, and a joy to be around. The experience at the salon in Oceanside was relaxed and welcoming, and I left feeling confident and thrilled with my hair. I can’t recommend Rebecca Bates highly enough—she’s a total gem and a true curly-hair expert.

We are from Minnesota visiting family and friends. My Wife called this salon and wanted to do her hair the next day. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly, helped my wife find the perfect time to do her hair with Jordan. My wife say's this is the best, sorry the PERFECT salon experience she ever had. Jordan made my wife look really beautiful and feel confident than she already was. Highly recommend.

Love this salon so much! I’ve had Ashley cut my hair for many years and always trust her with it :,). She always listens to what I want, and takes her time cutting my hair and making sure I’m on board with everything. She’s educated me so much about my hair and how to care for it, and has always been lovely about trying to fit me in without waiting too long. It’s such a relief to have a reliable place to go to, because I’ve had so many bad haircuts in my life in other salons that I have a very hard time trusting anyone with my hair. Highly recommend this place and Ashley in particular 🥰.

I originally left a positive review for Jordan because the appointment itself felt smooth. But once I got home, I kept wondering why my hair never looked the way Jordan had styled it. Most of the time I ended up just keeping it in a bun. I also asked for about four fingers’ length to be cut, but she ended up taking off much more than that. Recently, I went to another stylist who showed me exactly what was wrong: certain areas were uneven, the top was bulkier, and when I put my hair up, some strands were much longer than others. I realized the cut was actually quite sloppy and nothing like the pictures I had shown her. I should have spoken up sooner, but I was trying to stay positive. Unfortunately, after seeing the reality of the cut, I feel my hair was butchered and I won’t be returning to the Hair Parlour. I’ve gotten my hair done several times at the Hair Parlour and cannot rave about it enough. The environment is welcoming and relaxing, prices are fair and reasonable, but stylist Charissa is the real reason I bring my business here. She listens to what I want and delivers every time! I’ve had many transformations with her and my hair always feels silky smooth, healthy and my confidence is boosted every time I leave a service with her. I cannot recommend her enough, she is my hair queen! <3

First time visiting. I was immediately welcomed and offered water by their lovely receptionist. Kaylynn was my stylists and she did an amazing job. I went in with frizzy long hair and the cut I got made my curls pop & bouncy. My hair feels so much better and I left with a huge smile on my face. 100/10 would recommend!

These guys are experienced with curly hair. I have three mixed daughters each with different texture hair, and they did a fantastic job with all of them!! They took their time and gave each of them a great experience, all three girls were very pleased with the outcome.
