From the moment you walk into LotusDen, you instantly feel welcomed. Everyone is so kind and genuinely happy to see you, which makes the whole experience relaxing from the start. The vibe is effortlessly boho chic, with tons of plants throughout the space that give it such a fresh, calming energy. Katy has been cutting my hair for the last year, and she is truly a gem. I can bring her a few photos of my vision, and she somehow takes those ideas and works her magic to make them even better than I imagined. One of the things I appreciate most about Lotus Den is that they don’t push products on you. It feels authentic and comfortable. You’re there for great hair and a great experience, not a sales pitch. It’s also a wonderful, family-operated salon in the South O area, which makes supporting them feel even better. If you’re looking for talented stylists, a warm atmosphere, and a place that truly cares about their clients, Lotus Den is it.

I can’t recommend Emily Stebbings enough! I’ve trusted her with my hair for years- and she truly never disappoints! She is consistently kind, professional, and insanely talented. She takes the time to really listen to what you want & her blonde color work is amazing. Every appointment feels easy and fun, and I always leave loving my hair:) Book with Emily!

Ava’s styling was great! She answered so may of my questions. I wish she was able to help me a bit more with understanding my hair porosity and hair type instead of assuming it wasn’t wavy? Anyways, the price was also very high for a cut and style but the environment was beautiful and I really enjoyed the products she used on my hair. I even purchased some. Overall a positive experience 🙂

My appointment was with the salon owner. Bethany. I was impressed to see how she values mentoring up and coming stylists, and how she weaves them into assistant roles so that they gain experience. The salon is clean and well managed, well organized and efficient. Plus it's super cute and relaxing. Every single staff member that I spoke to was open and friendly.

I loved my experience here! Not only was the stylist I worked with knowledgeable and did a gorgeous job on my hair. But she was extremely understanding and helpful to the fact that I had to bring my 1 year old daughter with me. I appreciated the extra care and effort she put in to make me feel not stressed and enjoy my experience!

I’ve been on the hunt for a new stylist for about 5 years now, and I finally found the one! Livia took the time to listen to me, and help figure out what was needed to address my concerns. She explained the how and why, and even encouraged me to do a more natural style and taught me how to style my hair. I felt fully confident in her plan, and she understood exactly what I was looking for. She is truly one of the best stylists I’ve ever had! And the curls the left me with? Insane.

5/5 1st time to Lotus Den. I am not one to do reviews but I finally am in love with how my hair and color look. Olga was my stylist she fixed my hair the previous other salon in Oceanside had damaged. She took her time and gave me exactly what I wanted. I already rebooked with her. Amazing with blondes and anyone looking for that bright blonde look choose Olga. Salon is also super clean and taken care of. All of the staff was great as well. Highly recommend this salon. I have been to a couple salons in Oceanside and this is by far the best one!
