Mary Elizabeth is wonderful! I have very thick long curly hair and shes been one of only 2 stylists who knows what shes doing with it! Such a relief to find her in a new town ive moved to recently.

Every time I come Kaitlyn does my hair and makes me feel so pretty! She's always spot on with the cut and color I won't let anyone else touch my hair. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants someone who can do a wide range on blonde!

I walked in feeling really nervous due to a poor hair cut I previously received at a different salon. This is my first experience at Citizen Salon and I loved it! Kelsey had such a warm energy immediately. She knew I was pretty upset about how my hair looked so she walked me through everything we were gonna do, asked about my hair history, and was able to help me feel confident again and rock a bob. She knew what she had to do to fix it and did just that.

I first learned about Citizen Salon from a community member on Nextdoor who raved about the place, and told me to ask for Clinton. I followed the recommendation, and have been a regular ever since. My husband, daughters, and I have been having our hair clipper cut, colored, trimmed, buzzed, styled, and extended at Citizen Salon for nearly five years now. Over this time, we have come to know the owners Clinton and Lauren (one of the most talented colorists I’ve ever met) and their children like extended members of our own family. The vibe is warm, family-friendly, chic, hip, fun, stylish, and everything you could long for in a hair salon.

Citizen Salon is my ride or die spot to go for my hair. Lauren Norris is the best at giving your hair anything from a refresh to a completely different look. I wanted a fall rich brunette that highlights my naturally warm hair and she exceeded my expectations like always. Love Lauren! Will keep coming back.

I made an appointment for a full balayage as a birthday gift. The appointment never got added to my calendar because their scheduling system is terrible. I got a text saying my appointment time was starting and I thought I had scheduled for the following Thursday. I offered to still come and I could leave right away and would be fine with not doing a haircut or doing a partial balayage instead of full, whatever they still had time for. I got a message saying because of the way their "system works" anything past the scheduled time would warrant a 50% charge of the service fee, so I got charged $175 for absolutely nothing. I'm so sad.. I literally spent half my birthday money on nothing. Avoid this place. They are not concerned about their customers or about doing good business.

I religiously see Riley here, and i’ve never gone back to anyone else she genuinely is just the best and makes me feel so refreshed and calm. Riley never misses, shes realistic in my hair goals and getting me to exactly how i want my hair to look but always makes sure it feels good and keeps me healthy. She makes such a comfortable environment and just really puts you at ease in regards of the anxiety of hair care. Being a lived in blonde isnt the easiest choice, but she always makes sure my hair care and routine can match my lifestyle, she also always gets my color so right. Ive been religiously only seeing riley since the day i found her i think almost 2 years ago.
