Edo Salon Oakland

I’m new to Oakland so was trying to find a new place to go for my hair. I really liked Edo! The salon is cute and in a cute neighborhood, the staff is super friendly. I booked without requesting a specific stylist and was happy to have been booked with Muffy, because she asked a lot of questions and gave me a great haircut. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the stylists who work here. I’m happy to book again

Emily at the Oakland/Piedmont Ave location provided a 5 star experience, for sure. I hadn't cut my hair in roughly 6 years - she listened and kept the length I have worked so long to obtain while taking all the weight out for an epic long, shag cut that works with my wavy hair in all the right ways. She is a really sweet person and easy to talk to. Loving my hair again was an emotional moment and really lifted my spirits in a way I didn't realize I needed. Super stoked yo go back for more services as often as possible. I searched out a place that uses quality, vegan, eco friendly products and I sure found it. The products smelled lovely and my hair felt weightless and shinier than ever. Will be buying products at my next visit!

Muffy was amazing - she gave me a perfect cut in under an hour since I was short on time. I left feeling and looking younger than when I entered - thank you Edo!

Tiff Mcoll is the best curly hair stylist, gave me the best haircut of my life which enabled me to let my curls loose without the fuzz! Highly recommend! Best Vibe over all, great experience! I highly recommend this place! If you are looking for a very skilled stylist to deliver the cut you are dreaming of, look no further. I had my hair cut and styled by Tiffany Faircloth at the Oakland location and she clearly heard exactly what I wanted. I left very happy and intend to return for my next cut.

I haven’t really taken a lot of risks with my hair before, but I felt ready to do something different. Emmy looked at my hair and face shape, and suggested a style. She took time to explain what it would look like, how I could take care of it, and what she was cutting. Her obvious skill and openness really made it a great experience, and I’m excited to go back.
