Found this gem of a salon by accident. The location is great in hip downtown Sono, Sam does an excellent job my girls color and even treated her with a cappuccino pictured here. Prices are very fair considering the location and the service is top shelf. Would recommend this place to all

Booked a blow dry and make-up for my baby shower and I cannot say enough great things about this salon. I came in upset and stressed about said event and the compassion and care I received with just being a walk-in was so greatly appreciated. I walked out so excited for my shower and my hair and make-up was perfect! I am so grateful I get to look back at pictures that will make me feel good. I will definitely be back!

Had a great experience getting my hair cut here. Jewel was very attentive and extremely knowledgeable, she explained every step she was taking to achieve the most flattering cut for myself. My hair looks and feels amazing!

I recently moved to Norwalk and was looking for a salon and a new stylist that I could trust. I’ve had my fair share of negative experiences in hair salons where I’ve felt like an experiment, dealing with bad dye jobs and haircuts that weren’t really "me", but simply justifying the experience because I had respect for the individual doing my hair, although I always left unhappy. This is the first time in 29 years where I felt like a stylist really listened to me. Nicole is an absolute gem. I came for a brief consultation where I told her my preferences and she calmly and professionally gave her feedback and shared her insights. She was not pushy, she didn’t talk me into dying my hair or over treating it. She emphasized that she wanted to keep the integrity of my hair strong and healthy. I really appreciated her genuine, empathetic approach to me as a new client. I had my appointment this past weekend at Salon Etre where I got a trim, a deep conditioning treatment, and a stellar blowout. I left feeling amazing! I can’t thank her enough for being authentic and creating such a positive experience for me. I highly recommend this salon!

I used to get my hair cut by Michelle here. Since she no longer works there, the receptionist scheduled me with Tatiana for a hair cut and glaze. When I got there, Tatiana seemed to have no idea what a glaze was. I was so uncomfortable so I told her I only would like a haircut. I instantly regretted it as she started cutting my hair. The fact she charged me $85.00 dollars for a haircut as opposed to Michelle who charged $65.00 is an absolute joke. Michelle was so much more experienced and professional. The entire vibe of the place seems like it went downhill and would never go back or recommend to anyone.

I had a great experience at this salon. I had been cutting and styling my own hair for years before coming here because of horrible encounters at other salons. I have been wanting a balyage style of coloring in my hair for years, but was always told it wasn't possible because of my very dark natural color. I told Sam what I wanted and she was the first to say it could be done! She was open and honest in saying that it would take time, and maybe multiple sessions, but she could do it! She even did a strand test to see how light my hair could get (a first for me) and it came out so nice! I went back for my appointment, and after about 3 hours, Sam completely transformed my hair. I finally gave the look I have wanted for years! It came out perfect on the first try, and Sam really took her time and put a lot of hard work into my hair. And it really shows. My hair looks gorgeous and even feels healthy. I'm so happy with the result, it was worth every penny!
