I have to edit my review to say that Rosie is STILL the absolute best. The first two photos are from my original review (see below), and the last two are from my most recent visit a couple of days ago. I wasn't able to come in for about 13 months because of being pregnant, having a baby (I already had a toddler.. IYKYK), and a full work schedule, so I was WAY overdue for a cut and some color. You can see how dried out and frayed my hair was, and even though she's always given me some "space" between my natural roots and highlights (so I don't have to come in every 6 weeks), the color was way too grown out. Just look at the difference!! I feel like a new person!! I also want to mention that I didn't give her a ton of direction, because even though I used to take the time to find photos for reference of cut and color, I don't have as much time these days. I told her what I was looking for in cut and color, we talked a minute through her recommendations, and BOOM, she nailed it. Rosie is truly a miracle worker and she is SO much fun to spend some time in the chair with. I'm going to try to be more consistent with visiting her, but it's so great to know that even if I can't make it in when I need to, she'll revive my hair and give me a much-needed confidence boost. I still can't recommend her enough! *** I am so glad to have found Rosie at R Hair Studio! Even before Covid, I've been pretty bad about making regular salon visits. Not only that, I've been cutting my own hair the last few years to save some money. I first visited Rosie in the fall for highlights with very outgrown balayage and poorly-self-cut hair after she called me for a consultation about what I wanted and what would actually work for my hair. The color turned out absolutely gorgeous thanks to her recommendations (and she didn't pressure me to cut my hair, even though it needed it)! In true form, I again waited way too long to visit her again for no reason other than laziness and finally went back a few weeks ago. Her prices are too good (I've compared them to many other salons in the area), so I decided to go for a proper cut and a color refresh, and I think the before and after photos speak for themselves! WOW!! I feel like a brand new person, and I'm never going back to DIY cutting or coloring ever again. The other great thing about Rosie is that she's such a kind person, and you're guaranteed to have fun conversation and excellent service every visit along with fabulous results! I cannot recommend Rosie at R Hair Studio enough!!

I found R Hair Studio by searching online and so glad I did! Rosie saved my hair from a DIY gone wrong. She listened to my concerns, and answered all of my questions. She made sure to keep an eye on my hair, making sure it stayed healthy throughout the process. I highly recommend you give Rosie a try, I will be going back!

I can't say enough great things about Rosie and R Hair Studio. I started seeing Rosie in 2019 and followed her to her new salon. I can confidently say that my hair has never looked better! Rosie is the best! She is extremely knowledgeable and professional (and SO sweet!). She is a true expert in the industry. Throughout the years Rosie has given me various hair cuts and I've been obsessed with them all. She is also INCREDIBLE at hair color treatments and glazes. HIGHLY recommend seeing Rosie if you are in Fairfield County - you won't be disappointed!

Rosie is awesome! I love my hair. She made sure upfront that she knew what I wanted. Rosie checked in with me during the process to ensure what she was going to do next was correct. Rosie is right up there at the top of my list for great hair stylists. I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!
