If you have african hair, avoid this place. if they didn’t know how to handle the hair or what to do with it they could’ve just said so from the jump. My mom came in for a hair dye, blow-dry, and trim. We said trim multiple times. Instead, they only dyed her hair, didn't blow-dry it, didn't trim it, and then cut her hair short. They charged her $140. We were told it would be $75 for the dye and $70 for the blow-dry and trim. But then they changed the story and claimed it was $75 for a haircut we never asked for. Her hair looks worse than when she walked in? no style, no finish, just wet, uneven, and chopped up. Pieces are literally falling out of her hair. It's clear they don't know how to work with african hair and they don't listen to what you ask for. When they realized they messed up, they just stood there awkwardly and said nothing. I've been there before and paid $70 for a wash, trim, and straightening. But now for my mom, they changed the prices and didn't even complete the service. This place is inconsistent and overpriced. Save your time, your money, and your hair.

I had the best experience at Hair Quest! I felt like the stylist, Michael, really wanted the best outcome and took the time to understand my hair type/what I was looking for. The shampoo was relaxing, the cut clean and quick, and I adored how the glaze turned out after being blow dried. I think he did a great job and I’ll definitely come back here to see him!

Alfred is the best ever but, if you have curly hair like me he is the Master! Run don’t walk if you have curly hair he gives the best cuts! Always a happy customer!!! 💫 💇‍♀️

I came here because of the good reviews and I am entirely disappointed. Wasted so much time today waiting to be seen for my appointment. Made one because it says online you have to make an appointment. Waited 50 minutes and found out my stylist took two people before me, one of whom was a walk-in. I don’t mind waiting a few minutes to be seen but I was never acknowledged and never offered another stylist to be seen sooner. Very unprofessional.

I have been a client for seven years with the same hairstylist, Carlos, he has done as wonderful job every time I go to get my hair done. Love the staff and their service, excellent people, very friendly. My only thing I dislike is the parking, you need to pay for parking or park your car way up the block.
