I have virgin Asian hair and I have tried a number of different salons in and outside the Boston area for hair cuts over the past 6 years. I was able to get an appointment with Asuka and this was the first time that I felt like my cut was done with care and time rather than being rushed out because I wasn’t a big bill balayage color + cut. I’m so happy with my cut and will definitely come back to see Asuka!

Hands down best haircut I have gotten in the US. The only other time my hair looked this good is when I got a haircut in Tokyo. Masa was so kind and gentle. He took the time to understand what I wanted. I got hair treatment as well and that was a delight. He is a virtuoso in his job. I cannot believe it took me so long to find Senju Salon, thank you!!!

Very detailed and thorough coloring. Excellent understanding of highlight placement. Good, long layers. The cute grows out very well the color is lasting months. Super happy with Asuka.

I'm so happy I found this salon. I got consultation appt the same day and Masa was very nice and explained to me the whole process. He carefully analyzed my hair to make sure it can handle the chemicals that he will be using. He's professional, knowledgeable, and surprisingly very affordable. He takes his time and never cut corners. I'm very satisfied with the service. My hair looks and feels great. I think Masa and Asuka are both awesome. Asuka's chair is just in the room next to Masa's. While I was getting my hair done, I can hear Asuka's clients praising her work as well. This is a great salon and I will surely be coming back.

The space is compact but very comfortable since you have one on one treatment. The stylist is very knowledgeable and skillful and accommodating to meet my expectations. I trust their quality materials too. Totally recommend but since they are very popular, make sure to book 2 month in advance.

This is my first time doing straightening perm and haircut by Masa. And, I LOVE it! Since I move to Boston from NYC, it's been difficult to find a good and skillful hairdresser in greater Boston area. That is, I've been traveling back to Manhattan every year to get my hair done. Now, I feel I can settle down in Boston better because of Masa!!! Masa is experienced and skillful knowing how to manage my nature curly and think heavy hair. Also, Masa is easy to communicate and discuss the expecting hair look. Highly recommended!!!

A Japanese hair artist runs this place. he is very very skillful and has a lot of experiences among very competitive circumstances such as Manhattan or Downtown of Boston. Highly recommended for sure skill. Hidden jewel in the suburbs of Boston.
