Maryann did an absolutely fantastic job on my hair. She offered thoughtful guidance on the best colors for my balyage/partial highlights and gave me an awesome haircut. Can’t wait to return!

The hair saloon is a gem nestled into a small shopping center in newbury park. Lisa is an exceptional colorist and always knows the right color to recommend for your hair and skin tone. Not only that, she has done my hair in half the time as previous stylists, and it looks twice as good! Highly recommend

Went to this shop twice. The first time was a couple of years ago with Mai and she did an OK job for my shoulder length bob style, but not great. I went back 3 months ago, didn't ask for anyone specific. It happened they had a traveling hair stylist whom came to this location once or twice a week. He was fine, but I couldn't remember his name. I called today and Mai picked up (I could tell it was Mai because she has an accent). I told her I could have anyone for a haircut. She told me to "hold on", then went on her chatting with someone in the background for at least 10 minutes. Eventually I had to hang up. I called back few times the next hour or so, the phone was still busy. Couldn't find a more rude person. Not going back.

What an awesome salon! Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. My stylist Maryann did some very bright and creative colors for me. She was intent on making sure I got exactly what I wanted! She taught me about different techniques and showed me examples so that I fully understood what the end result would look like. And WOW what a trooper. She was on her feet, getting it done no matter how long it took! From 4pm to almost midnight, this lady was on a mission. She was funny, she was kind. She made me feel like so much more than just another customer. I will be returning here for EVER. Also, I watched Emily do some great work on another customer, and she was such a joy to meet as well. I could go on and on! Give them a try for sure.

Maryann was super professional but super comfortable to talk with! My hair color came out so beautiful & full of life! And the cut is something i was scared to do but Maryann killed it, its amazing. I highly recommend going to her for any hair color or cut service! she’s the best!!! (:

Lisa is incredible! I found her 6 years ago and will never go anywhere else! I have chemical allergies and getting my hair colored has always been a huge problem, causing itching and rashes. Not only did Lisa help find the perfect color that I am not allergic to, but she does the most amazing balayage effect color & cut every time!

I love The Hair Saloon! Lisa did such an excellent job when I went in July during its brief reopening. The space is clean, modern, and charming. Who knew this hidden gem was right here in Newbury Park! I wish I had found out about this place sooner and hadn't wasted time on inferior salons in T.O. Can't wait to go back once it opens up again.
