Rocket Science Salon

Rocket Science Salon is excellent. The staff are very friendly and courteous. I have been a long time customer for many years. Kelsey is highly skilled in her profession, especially if you need color, cut, highlighting, and root touch ups. Go see her!

I had a fantastic experience at Rocket Science! The salon is clean, welcoming, and has a great atmosphere. My stylist, Marisa, was amazing—super professional, friendly, and truly listened to what I wanted. I left feeling confident and refreshed. My fiance said it was one of the best haircuts I ever had!

I almost don’t want to write this review because it’ll make it harder to book an appointment with her, but Keeley deserves her flowers. I hadn’t been to Rocket Science in a while since I’d moved away, but now that I’m back in town I desperately needed a professional cut and color. Keeley used to do my hair (and even my mom’s years ago), so I booked with her. I have course hair with tight waves and a lot of curls that I’d been cutting and coloring myself because I could never find anyone who could get it right (and after a horrific cut at another salon) and let’s just say my last DIY attempt went a little overboard. So you can imagine what Keeley was working with here. No exaggeration: she gave me the BEST cut and color I’ve ever had in my life and I’ve had plenty, including some very expensive ones at some top celebrity salons. Since my appointment last Saturday, more than three people have stopped me to ask who does my hair because the curls are popping and the color is stunning. If you have wavy or curly hair or short hair (she gave me the cutest cuts back when I was growing out my pixie) Keeley is the one. Thank me later.

Melissa provided consultation asking what I wanted and her recommendations. She was thorough and listened to my concerns, continued asking questions throughout. As the lady with the shears, I trusted her and am so glad I did!

Omg!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE I went into Rocket Science with Blonde and Black hair came out with beautiful blonde and red. I will most definitely go back in 6 week found my favorite new hair salon in NOLA!!!!

I have been a long-time customer (almost 6 years, but that also includes Covid so there was a big break) and have had several stylists during my time. I have been seeing Keely for about 2 years and I have always been extremely satisfied with my service and results. I have really enjoyed developing a rapport with Keely and feel very comfortable with her. I imagine I'll remain a customer for as long as I am in the city!

I am updating my review as my initial experience w/ a different stylist was good, but Kelsey is incredible. Book w /her. You won't be disappointed.
