I came in wanting a big change and went from light blonde to a richer, darker color — and the transformation turned out even better than I imagined! April really listened to what I wanted and explained how we could create depth, shine, and dimension so the color looked natural and healthy. The before and after difference is amazing. My hair looks so much fuller and healthier, and the darker tone completely changed my overall look in the best way. The haircut and style tied everything together perfectly and made the color pop even more. What I appreciated most was how thoughtful and detail-oriented April is throughout the entire process. You can tell she truly knows color and cares about creating something customized for each client. I’ve gotten so many compliments already and feel more confident than ever — highly recommend! Will forever keep coming back!

I've been going to Zazu on and off for 8 years, but the Naperville location has gone downhill fast. It used to feel premium - welcoming staff, drinks on arrival, little touches that made it worth the price. Now, I'm lucky if I'm offered a dirty glass of warm water. My last few visits have been especially bad. One stylist got color all over me - on my clothes, face, and neck--and nothing was done to make it right. On my last visit, I paid for a balayage and left with zero visible color difference. The salon itself feels dirty and run down, and the staff seem inexperienced. The staff also eat food which smells up the salon area - pizza and wings on my last visit. For the high prices they charge, the guest experience is bare minimum. This is no longer a luxury salon.

I absolutely love ZAZU—they’re the best salon in downtown Naperville. The entire team works together to create such a seamless, welcoming experience. Elle (Laura) Spooner has been my stylist for the past four years, and she’s amazing. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

If you're on the search for a new hair stylist I cannot recommend April enough! I went in with an idea of what I wanted to do with my hair trying my best to articulate what I was looking for with no photo to reference, and April absolutely nailed it. It was like she saw the vision in my head. I am so happy with how it turned out, this is my favorite haircut yet- thank you!! ♥️

My favorite place in downtown Naperville! I’ve been coming here for over a decade. My current stylist is Alexa, been her client for over three years. Super talented, friendly and knowledgeable. It’s like a mini spa treatment when I get a professional hair cut, recommendations on products, consultation for a new hair style, etc. Highly recommend this salon.

I had a truly fantastic experience with April! I came in hoping for a specific blonde shade and showed her an inspiration photo. She did an amazing job of matching the color and tone exactly. She's a true professional when it comes to color formulation! While I only got color this visit, I know from previous appointments that April is an excellent stylist. She has always taken the time to understand my hair and helped me find a long-lasting style that makes my daily routine so much easier.
