I’m a new mom and for a few weeks have wanted to chop my hair into a bob. I haven’t ever had my hair done regularly, so I didn’t know how to find someone for this — so I booked my appointment with Ericah yesterday and got in same day…I was excited to scratch the itch I’d had for short hair, but also pretty nervous to have a good experience and outcome. Ericah was so nice and did such a great job on my hair. I am so glad I ignored JC Penney Salon reviews and just went for it! I felt very welcomed even as the last appointment on a Saturday night, and lefting feeling my confidence boosted. Will definitely go back without hesitation.

This isn't much about the hair stylist that works there. It's more of a complaint to their current manager, I believe her name was Stacy, I sadly had an experience today with her. Trying to rush me off quickly, it's a salon it should be more relaxing. at the time of paying it was all rushed and wanting to charge way more than what I was charged before 50 dollars more to be exact. In that case I should just dye my hair myself. If it wasent for the amazing stylist I wouldn't be going there.

Excellent place to get your hair cut and colored. They have an amazing staff of professionals. I have had my hair cut and colored here. Super friendly. Both experiences were good and with different stylists. The salon is at the back of the store by bedding. You can easily book online sometimes the same day. If you enter the doors facing Happy Valley Rd., enter and then take the 2nd left back to the salon. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I had Candace cut and color my hair Friday but by Sunday I wanted it shorter so I went back ! Candace did great job loved it but this older woman kept sneaking around watching us I thought she was a boss but she wasn’t she did work there but I didn’t like her sneaking around watching us it made me feel very uncomfortable ! I don’t know name her name but she wasn’t older lady ! Then she sit in chair and started talking I didn’t know her and I was talking to Candace she needs to quit sneaking around corners she has done this before and I don’t like it ! I really like Candace and I will keep going to get hair done there but she needs to quit watching people !

HORRIBLE experience! I paid $50 PLUS A TIP for a butterfly cut … that the stylist said she knew how to do and then completly cut straight across and just chopped it!!!!! She cut 9 inches off with NO layers at ALL and burnt my head in the process!!! Do not go here! They are horrible 😭refused a refund and refused a different stylist to do my hair

Takkiah has gone above and beyond with Olaplex treatments getting my hair in a good place after having cancer twice. Very appreciative to her for getting my hair so healthy. I really liked the fact that she asked questions about how I took care of my hair over the years so she could come up with the best plan for me. Lindsay thank you for helping me order product when I needed to get a specific kind after the bottle cap came undone and it dumped all over in my suitcase after a trip #forvergratefultoyouboth
