Please do not come here!!! Couple of year ago I got my hair done at this salon and loved how it turned out, when they did my hair the first time I had RED box color in my hair. They were able to take it out and left me with a very beautiful ashy toned blonde. My hair was of course a little damaged after because I have naturally dark hair as well and it had red in it. After that I got my hair done professionally and went back to close to my natural color to give my hair a break and to be able to heal. I have done nothing to my hair for 2 years and have completely taken care of it getting regular haircuts every couple of months, of course my hair was a little dry because I do curl my hair every so often, but was mainly only dry at the ends of it. I decided to come here and made an appointment where the lady told me that she needed me to come in first so she could see my hair, the day of I went in and told her what I wanted i explained it in English and Spanish because she did not seem to speak very good English and wanted to make sure she understood me as well. (She never did a hair strand )She never once told me that she couldn’t do what I was asking for until after already putting bleach into my hair and then proceeded to make another plan without consulting me of what I wanted first. I told her I wanted dark roots and blonde on the rest of it she reassured me she could and I made sure to make it clear in English and Spanish that I did not want highlight at all. At the end of it all I got highlights and when I tried to explain this to her and that I was unhappy with the outcome she began lying and telling me she told me that she couldn’t give me what I wanted.please save your money go to an actual professional. I spent 400$ here for highlights and yellow hair!!!! Save your 💴money. Very unprofessional people here. I will insert pictures of the first time getting my hair done here and the inspiration picture I gave her for reference of what I wanted. My hair and condition of how I had it with it being mostly virgin hair and only having the slightest of color at the tips and the highlights I left with. (Update): when I spoke to her over the phone I explained that it was not what I had asked for, I did not asked her to lighten me more but to fix the tone because I had yellow roots and over processed. She then rudely proceeded to tell me that my hair was to damaged and if I did anything else or went somewhere else it would fall out even though I had VIRGIN hair like I explain in the first part and she then said she would fix my hair for additional money to which I replied that I rather get a (partial refund) because it was not done correctly and not what I asked for she then said she would not so I took my business elsewhere where and went to an actual professional and got my hair fixed at a different salon!!! My hair is now beautiful and still very healthy!!! (If you wanna see how my hair turned out go to look at 1salon’s reviews) I left pictures of how beautiful my hair turned out! This was hands-down, the worst experience of my life. I saw reviews of this business on a social network page. From what I could tell, it looked like they did quality hair. So I made an appointment and found it oddly interesting that I had to ring a doorbell to get into the business. When I sat down I informed the stylist that I wanted some highlights. My hair was dark brown, and I wanted some highlights to frame my face. the stylist proceeded to tell me that it would look much better in my whole head was done. Well I had dark hair and I thought oh a light brown caramel high light would look nice so I can send it to that. the stylist disappeared into some back room and came out with a bowl that held about 24 ounces of 30 to 40 volume bleach and proceeded slept on my hair all over all over my head prior to this, she asked me if I wanted Ola Plex and that solution and I consented that that would be OK but the amount of Ola Plex that she used was negligible. I know how to use this product less than half an ounce. I would say about 30 ounces of bleach is not gonna do anything to protect my hair. She slaps on the bleach and leaves me sitting there by myself for 45 minutes. She does not come out to check my hair periodically to see what’s happening with it after 45 minutes she takes me to the shampoo bowl and tries to wash my hair with 4 inch nails to get this bleach out of my hair, I don’t think it worked. She asked me to go sit back in the chair after she Hazzard tried to wash my hair. Then she pulls my hair up by fistful and tries to comb through it with a vent brush, what I saw was pink toughs of hair being pulled off of my head as if it was cotton I was mortified and nearly in tears. She acted like she knew what she was doing and said that she was gonna put an all over color on it to tone it down, she put an all over on it and stuck for 40 minutes and disappeared during this whole time. This time to assess the salon. it was horrible at best. There were mannequins wearing an 80s styled clothing. She was trying to sell plastic purses and had black dye and splotches all over the walls with this horrible blue neon light framing the mirrors. This salon had an identity crisis of a cheap thrift store and hair salon, when she combed through my hair after putting on the second chemical treatment, she asked me if I wanted a haircut besides the chemical haircut I got . I was shocked that this woman would not just simply cut my hair as a concession for ruining it. when I asked her what price point I was at I was shocked that she quoted me $271. I don’t know if she clearly understood English but when I left the salon, she somehow charged me $130 more at this point, I was just mortified that I wanted to get out of that salon and could not understand how this person could put me in her chair ruined my hair and I paid her for this, I had to pay to have my hair completely messed up. When I tried to reach out to this person over the FB social network page and voice my concerns she blocked me. My hair is ruined and the haircut I received is not even the front on the left side is chopped and on the right side it doesn’t appear that she even cut it at all, when I look in the mirror to the back hair has different steps on it. It is clearly not cut well. This was the worst experience of my life. I can’t imagine the pictures that she has on her social network. Pages are actual pictures of clients that she took pictures of her salon. What even makes me mad is that this woman took pictures of my hair without my consent but in all reality, she has pictures of the horrible job that she did. I expect a refund from this person before I meet with my lawyer. Have I have since had another stylist film and go through my hair, which will clearly show the uneven haircut and the condition of my hair I have a picture of my hair less than a week ago and the picture of my hair as it stands today prior to my hair job at the salon my hair was beautiful. I wanted simple caramel highlights. I now have copper, red and black striped hair with an uneven haircut.

I’ve been going here for a few years now and I love it ! She knows exactly what I want and ask for , Im happy I finally found a place I can stick to and rely on doing a great job 🥰 she always leaves me feeling pretty 🙈 and she’s so sweet and beautiful 🥹 🙌🏽 I love it !

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Johanna. I have very dark hair, and I came in asking for platinum blonde highlights, a bold request that many stylists in the past have hesitated to do in one session. Usually, I’m told to come back for multiple appointments or to "be realistic" about what’s possible. Not Johanna. She listened, understood exactly what I was going for, and delivered flawlessly, all in one session. She achieved the most perfect icy blonde without frying my hair, which is no small feat with how dark my natural color is. Not only did she get the tone just right (no brassiness whatsoever!), but she also took incredible care of my hair’s health. It felt soft and nourished even after such a major lift, which speaks volumes about the high-quality products she uses, and her level of expertise. On top of that, Johanna is simply a joy to be around. She was warm, attentive, and went out of her way to make me feel relaxed and taken care of throughout the whole process. I felt like I was in the hands of someone who genuinely cares, not just about the outcome, but about the whole experience. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to take my hair from dark to blonde ever again. Johanna is an artist, a professional, and a total gem. If you're considering going blonde and want it done right (without the damage or the runaround), she’s the one. I had a wonderful experience getting my haircut at Salon For You. Both Johanna and Pamela were exceptional and gave me great suggestions on my haircut. I would most definitely recommend their establishment to everyone because they are extremely knowledgeable, very customer oriented and just amazing stylists.

Do not go to the salon horrible service! I went in for level seven highlights not hard. I came out with Ash green highlights! 0 out of 10 do not recommend.
