I had an appointment with Chantel to get extensions. (I’ve never had extensions before.) I appreciate how thorough Chantel was in making sure the color was just right. She is talented at her craft and is super down to earth and easy to click with. I can’t say enough good things about my experience! Thank you Chantel for helping me be able to gain some confidence back after having dealt with thin hair for years. It’s a huge game changer to feel like my hair is thick and healthy again! Plus the color is gorgeous! 🥲❤️

I HIGHLY recommend Shelby Ann Muir!!! She gave me a beautiful cut yesterday, found more curls than I thought I had, fixed my sketchy layers, and explained how to take care of and nurture my hair! Also, she is just a TOTALLY cool human being.

I have been getting my hair done by Steven consistently since about 2018! He is absolutely FABULOUS and truly an artist when it comes to cutting and coloring hair! I’m always getting compliments from colleagues, strangers, and friends left and right on my hair! I love how welcoming the atmosphere is, and his staff Christy is also very sweet! Steven provides such a comfortable environment to come and just be yourself all while getting pampered. I literally get so excited for every appointment! Absolutely love Onyx Shear hair Art!! Steven’s been cutting and coloring my hair for over 8 years. He always meets you with a smile and will have you laughing the entire apt. He truly loves what he does and it shows in his amazing work ethic. Can’t wait for my next apt.

This is my first time going to a professional hair salon, having mostly gone to Great Clips for the most part. Christy did an excellent job reshaping my shaggy hair style. The cost was reasonable, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable. My only negative is that the mirror makes me look really fat... but then I am fat.

I hope no one else has to experience this. My appointment was 30 mins late. With no apology. My hair turned out NOTHING like my reference photo. She talked about herself personal life the whole time. And she double booked so another employee finished my hair. She didn’t address my complaints. But when the other employee checked me out it was $100 cheaper than expected. I’m thankful for that because I had to spend $400 to have it fixed today. Idk why she did this. I will never forget this appointment. Please don’t risk it.

Shelby, their new stylist, is seriously incredible. She brought out so much texture and curl in my hair that I thought was long gone. She is so sweet and overall a wonderful person & stylist! Don’t hesitate to book her!!!
