The moment I walked into this Ulta, I should’ve known. Three employees saw me enter and none greeted me or offered assistance, yet customers who did not look like me were acknowledged and helped. I stood in the store for 10–15 minutes before finally being offered help by a kind young lady who I believe was the lead associate or manager. I expressed my disappointment but thanked her. I continued shopping, found everything I came in for (and more), and went to check out. During checkout, I asked a simple question about an item labeled "cotton candy," and the associate ringing me up initially seemed fine helping figure it out. The issue started at the very end. Checkout is where things went completely left. I am a disabled veteran and was checking out tax-exempt. I had my pen out and my hand extended to sign the receipt, as I know the process well given that I shop here quite often. Instead of handing it to me, the associate put the receipt in my bag. I had my hand out because I wanted my receipt 🧾 plus I needed it to sign, her attitude shifted. She became irritated and literally slung the receipt toward me. I calmly asked multiple times if she was okay because of her attitude. She ignored me and kept repeating "sign the receipt" without addressing me. I asked for the manager, who was standing right there and heard the entire interaction. Only then did she step in and tell the associate to leave. The associate Jaidyn shrugged and walked off with an attitude, clearly unbothered even in front of her manager. The associate didn’t have a name tag and refused to give her name. The manager told me the associate’s name was "Jada" and her own was "Zoe." My issue isn’t with the manager personally, but with the lack of control over staff. The behavior displayed tells me the associate whose name is Jaidyn, felt comfortable enough to be disrespectful. Spending nearly $200 at a store I frequent only to be treated this way is unacceptable. This experience was uncalled for, frustrating, disrespectful, and disappointing.

I really enjoyed my time here! All associates are so friendly and helpful. The manager Zoe was super welcoming and knowledgeable about what she was talking about. I’ve always been to the ulta in Norman but will definitely be coming back to this one! I never make reviews but the service here was really exceptional!

I went in with my friend a week ago and the team members immediately assumed we were stealing. We both have worked retail and know what precautions salespeople make in order to ensure inventory control. They used these exact steps on us when we weren’t stealing and had no desire to steal. I don’t want a ginormous shopping tote that I have to carry around for the one tiny Milani powder I planned on buying.

Janessa did an amazing color job on my hair. Including throwing in some highlights. I would recommend seeing her if she is available. And she styled it soo beautifully 😍 thank you so much

Very helpful staff Didn't have exactly what I was looking for but they helped me find a substitute i could use that night. They even offered to check other stores to try & get my specific product.

Everyone should lookup how much these people make an hour. The store manager makes bank. Actions of the staff is bangin. They on point any and every time I'm having to pick up my eye shadow. Ya I said it

Normally have a great experience here but almost didn’t buy my product due to Zoey behind the counter. I understand a store policy of no photos of ID to use my ulta card even though someone a few days before, AT THIS EXACT STORE, told me to pull it up on my phone because I didn’t have my physical one, but no need to have a nasty attitude when saying it. No apology or promise to discuss with team just "well yeah no she shouldn’t have!" And being spoken to like I’m stupid is really uncalled for. What a mood killer she was. I was excited because I found a last minute thing I needed for my wedding and man I wish the Norman store wasn’t closed right now because giving my money to someone like that really has my blood boiling. Do better Ulta I get retail isn’t the most fun sometimes dealing with people trust me I’ve worked at an ulta before but if you rather chit chat with your friends Zoey instead of assisting the customers in a friendly manner then this isn’t the job for you. And I see from some of these other reviewers this isn’t the first instance of this store having attitude and rudeness issues. Maybe time for a team meeting because I’ll assume that’s not the way Ulta is wanting their store represented but who knows. The 25th can’t come soon enough I’m done with this location.
