Jamie is so welcoming and kind! From the moment you walk in her beautiful salon she makes you feel like an old friend. I am so blown away by the results of my "curly cut"! Not only did Jamie do a wonderful job freeing my curls but she took the time to make sure my hair was set up for success (detox mask) and showed me how to achieve the same results at home with minimal products. I’m so happy! This experience more than exceeded my expectations.

Jamie is INCREDIBLE. I had been following different things I had read online about wavy girl methods and they just were not working for me. I didn't like the way my hair looked and my hair DID NOT like the products I was using even though they were supposedly good for my hair. Jamie changed my life! She is an expert and walked me through every step of my new routine. She didn't just cut my hair, she educated me on what I needed to do to get my hair healthy again. My hair has never looked this good my entire life. I have never been to the same salon more than once because I just wasn't happy with my services but I just booked my third appointment with Jamie. Now, I will never let another touch my hair again!

Today I got a Signature Curly cut with Jamie. I was looking to book with a new salon as I am new to the area. Not only is she so fun to talk to, she is also an amazing stylist. This cut is by far the best haircut I have ever received and I learned a lot about hair care from Jamie. My hair is now bouncy, healthy, and is shaped beautifully. Definitely will be going back and would recommend.

I am so incredibly happy to have met Jamie Rene. When I went in to see her, my hair would not hold its curl. It looked dead and flat. I really did not know how to take care of it. After a simple cut and instructions on how to care for my hair, it has never looked this beautiful. The curls have bounce and are lively like those of my early childhood. Jamie is the best in the industry!

Jamie is that stylist you dream about! When you to to Altar Hair Salon, everything is just a wonderful experience....I have curly hair and found that Jamie's level 3 Deva magic transformed my scraggly curls into an actual shape that I've never achieved before... amazing! Plus, the salon is sooo personal, private, and charming... and she spends an amazing amount of time teaching each client how to handle the curls.... love love love the Deva products, as well... so happy I found Jamie at Altar!

Jaime is great!! She has curly hair and knows firsthand what we deal with here in our hot, humid climate. She takes time to actually listen to what you want for your outcome. My hair feels so soft and has bouncy curl. Your time spent with her will be a delightful experience.
