I never trust people with my hair.. but the salon owner Mitchelle literally made my dream hair come true! This was the first time ever I did a vivid color like the photos below, she answered all my questions with no hesitation and explained the process to me, she made me feel safe in her chair and once everything was done I was so so so pleased and excited of my end results. As someone who doesn’t trust anyone with her hair please please come to Collective hair salon and have a seat in Mitchelle’s chair and let her work her magic!

I had a very bad experience with the owner of the salon Michelle. I had a consultation with her wanting calico color hair and everything seemed fine I paid a $75 deposit . I came in for my appointment in October and she told me that it was possible that the colors would fade which I expected since vivid colors don’t usually last a long time. I also told her that in the future I definitely want more vivid colors and she said I should have no issues with that. She started with the appointment and seemed off. I could tell she was stressed and nervous and she didn’t talk to me much. During the appointment she put color on my hair had me sit for a while and then rinsed me off. After that she started with the hair cut and everything seemed okay. After the haircut she did not ask me if it looked okay or anything she just got to curling straight away. And then I paid the rest of my money owed which was over $200 and bought an overly priced shampoo. My bangs were short and choppy but everything else seemed okay. I started using the shampoo and it was horrible, she had recommended it for my oily hair but it made it so much worse. My hair grew out and the color started to fade and i thought it looks okay. I can’t see in the back of my head but from the front everything looked fine. I decided that I thought I paid way too much for this service so I decided to go to a new hair stylist. I had a consultation with her and she asked me if I had looked in the back of my head. I said I know my roots are grown out but that’s it. She took photos and my hair looked so bad. There’s banding, streaks, it’s splotchy and there is breakage. It looks like she threw the color on in a rush. The new hairstylist says this is not normal. I messaged Michelle and told her that this isn’t right and that I should’ve never left the salon looking like this and that she should have told me this would have happened and I would’ve done something else. Now I have to spend over $400 to get a color correction. Michelle stated that she has a 14 day policy but I was never made aware of the policy and never saw any signs or anything else. I requested a refund if not all at least part because I have to pay to get this fixed. She will not do that and offered to fix it but I will never let her touch my hair again. Please BEWARE i have had so much bad luck with vivid hair stylists in Manteca and Michelle is another person you should stay away from.

Michelle has been so wonderful to me this last year with transitioning my pitch black hair to highlights. Her ability to transition colors is effortless and her knowledge about hair/colors is amazing. I highly recommend her if you are looking for a professional change to your hair ❤️❤️🙏patience with any change to your hair is essential but worth the wait with Michelle!

I was so happy when I finally found a local artist that could listen to what I wanted and come through with the color. I love how she always takes the time to listen to the cut that I want and the color. I have been coming to Michelle over. 5 years. Now, both of my teenage daughters go to her for cutting color I also appreciate the fact that she is constantly learning and taking new classes on color and cuts I definitely recommend her, especially if you’re looking for specialized coloring

Thania is absolutely amazing! I am so happy we found her!! Not only is she talented, but she is also very honest. She takes into account your hair health and explains the process to get you to your hair goals. My daughter has gone through many colors in her younger teens, but Thania has brought back her beautiful blond hair, while keeping her hair healthy and gorgeous! My adopted daughter daughter has beautiful curly hair and is very cautious about who touches her hair. Thania understood this and made sure my adopted daughter was comfortable and knew she was in control. At the end of the appointment she was very happy with her hair and very comfortable with Thania. She is very talented and cares about her clients!

I got service done by Thania , I got hair color and a trim . The result was beautiful. I explained my fears of going lighter and how I want my hair to get healthy. She was so understanding and made me feel comfortable. I also love the salon atmosphere, it's like family. Recommend 100 percent.

I trusted Thania to give me my front bangs (the first time since I was a wee lad!) and she fully surpassed my expectations with my bangs and i am in loove with them. great hair stylist <3
