very skilled hair stylist. I love getting my haircut from him! But no hospitality and doesn’t acknowledge you when you walk in, only after you ask for a haircut😂😂 hours listed are not true. Most of the time he is not there🤣🤣 but when you do catch him when he decides to work it’ll be a good haircut🤔 so i recommend…I think….

I originally went to Joyful Hair Design before trying out Ding’s a few years back. The haircut itself was fine, but the vibe was… off. The barber didn’t exactly radiate warmth, and seeing him smoking out front didn’t help make a great impression. Still, I gave it a shot for a little while—until the pandemic hit. When it came time to resume regular haircuts, I went back to Joyful, where they treat you like a person and actually seem happy to see you. Today, after hearing Ding’s had reopened, I figured I’d give it one last try. I arrived at 11:50 AM (they open at noon), and waited. By 12:15 PM, the doors were still locked. No lights on. No sign of life. No barber. Just me, standing on the sidewalk, wondering why I was giving this place a second chance. That’s when I remembered: this was the same place where the barber used to be out front smoking instead of welcoming customers. So in a way, I guess things haven’t changed—they’re just not even bothering to show up now. I went straight back to Joyful, where they’re punctual, professional, and don’t make you feel like you’re chasing a ghost. Ding’s may technically be open again—but don’t hold your breath waiting outside.

This salon has only one barber, and he’s inefficient, so you end up waiting a long time every visit. Worse still, his attitude is terrible, and he completely ignores the "first come, first served" rule. MORE THEN ONCE! I’ve had people who speak Cantonese cut in front of me and he just ask me to wait without any explanation! If you’re his friend, you’ll get served first, no matter how long others have been waiting. To top it off, the prices here are higher than at other salons. So save yourself the trouble！

This is probably the rudest and worst hair salon I have ever been to. 3 times here. None of the time I have enjoyed it. First time was ok. Second time got my hair wrong. The hair dresser’s like yeah I cut it too high mehhhh. The third time was like I don’t care what you want whatever you want and make comments on what I described. No one owns you a thing. If you don’t want to run the business why should I spend money here? No wonder you don’t have good business like the U2.

Just came back to Michigan and needed to find a hair salon, I've been to this location years ago when it was rented out by another barber, I'm glad to see another barber took over the location and this place is pretty great. The price is $16 for men without shampoo, not sure about women. I brought in a picture and I'd recommend doing the same if you plan on going to make it easier.

They finally REOPEN!! I have tried many different place including barber shop, and this is the place place I can find in this area. He took his time and make sure your hair is perfect and what you want. He is not fluent in english which may lead to others think he is rude. 5 stars place and I will only come here unless they close again.

This is an asian hair salon, it is much better than an American hair salon. The massage is much better, especially the guy that cut my hair is very skilled. Shampoo + cut is $18 and it has the same price as other hair salons except the massage is longer in this place 👍👍
