I’ve been getting my hair cut here for a while now, and Ashton has been amazing every single time. He does a fantastic job keeping me looking great and always takes the time to make sure I’m happy with the results. He’s extremely friendly, kind, and patient — genuinely one of the most personable stylists I’ve met. Even though I don’t speak Korean, he always makes a great effort to understand exactly what I want and he prioritizes our communication to make sure we are on the same page. He consistently delivers the look I’m going for. His attention to detail, skill, and willingness to listen make the whole experience super comfortable and enjoyable. I really appreciate his professionalism and care, and I’ll definitely keep coming back for my haircuts. Highly recommend!

Every hairstyle I asked for, he delivered 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Even though I don’t have a lot of hair to work with, he still manages to give me exactly what I want every single time! He’s great with both women’s and men’s haircuts. I literally made my husband come to him, and now my husband goes even more often than I do 😂 Absolutely recommended salon and stylist. Always a great experience!! I’ve been coming here for the last 2 years. I come down all the way from Bellingham once every 2-3 months for a perm and haircut! Ashton always does a great job! And I don’t trust a lot of salons so that says a lot from me! Thanks Ashton! See you again soon!

I’ll provide pictures of what my hair looked like before haircut, the reference pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like, and my hair after the haircut. Despite having lots of hair to work with, my haircut ended up NOTHING like the reference picture, and if anything, the results of my hair is way too short compared to what I wanted, and the job is just poorly done in general. Also, despite me giving him a heads up about my piercings before the haircut began, he kept grazing the ear piercings, and even pinched one of the ear piercings at one point, to where it started bleeding a bit when I left the place. Also, when looking at other reviews, I noticed another customer has the same complaint that I do, in that the lengths for the sides of my hair are uneven, with the right side being longer than the left. I am very unsatisfied, I’m never coming back. Please, save your money before thinking of going here. This cost me $38.00 Edit: In response to the owner’s comment, instead of taking accountability for the terrible job you did to my hair, you hide behind the constant excuse of "lack of communication" which doesn’t make up for your lack of vision and skill. In terms of communication, not only did I show you the reference picture, but I communicated what I wanted the sides of my hair to look like. After the haircut was finished, I explained that I didn’t like how short my hair was, but you essentially said that I just need to style my hair down and it’ll look fine. What you gave me resembles nothing like what I wanted. I even tried styling what you gave me for an hour at an attempt to try and salvage it, but there’s nothing I can do. I have no idea where the good reviews are coming from. For the bad reviews, I was able to relate to their experiences by a lot. You ruined my hair. No, I would never pursue the opportunity to step foot into your establishment for you to try and "fix" my hair, only to end up ruining it even more. Thank you, have a good day.

Ashton cuts my hair every single month, and is the number one person I trust to do my hair. He knows how to navigate thick Asian men’s hair, communicates clearly, and is always open for me to come in, with or without a reservation. 10/10 would recommend to any guy looking for someone to consistently cut every month there hair with great results.

I’m super happy with how my hair turned out! The male stylist was incredibly friendly, and the female stylist gave me a very refreshing shampoo experience. The only downside? The delicious smell from the Subway next door kept making me hungry! Summary: As long as I don’t end up in a fight with the stylists (which is highly unlikely), I’ll keep coming back.

I read the reviews about him knowing how to cut Asian hair and listening to what you asked for and I genuinely don’t understand how my experience was so different than everyone else’s?? My hair is horrible and I don’t know if anyone can save this hair cut. I know hair grows back but I’m going to be upset every single time I look in the mirror. It looks like I cut my own hair. Would have been cheaper too if I cut my own hair. Edit in response to owner’s comments: added photo of my hair at home. It doesn’t really matter what I said I wanted (which I did say was long layers and shorter in the front at the appointment) because this is definitely not hair that no one wants. It’s clearly uneven and chunky. when I noticed that you were watching the travel blog about Austria on TV more than you were focused on cutting my hair, that’s when I decided it wasn’t worth talking to you further about how you were cutting it. Also to be clear I’m not upset at the wait at all, I understand waits happen.
