110% recommend! Amazing "customer service", which really just feels like talking and visiting with an old friend. I’ve had a hard time since moving to Lubbock finding a stylist (I’m pretty picky) and have had some horrible cuts along the way. Amber really takes the time and puts in the effort to get the cut right! I’ll forever be going here for haircuts from now on

Got an amazing cut from Cydnee! Great atmosphere and art in the space as well, I loved how unique but cozy the place felt. I'll definitely be coming back for another cut or dye job in the future! Update 8/9: Went in to have my hair dyed and was taken care of by Amber! Before she got started she made sure we were on the same page so that I got exactly what I wanted, and she fully delivered! Not only did she do a phenomenal job with my hair, but she was also awesome to chat with and made me feel extremely welcome in the studio. It was well worth the price, and I'll be recommending Rock•Paper•Shears to anyone looking for a hair salon that takes good care of them and their hair!

I was nervous about finding a new stylist, but getting my hair cut with Amber was a great experience. She had a form I could fill out in advance to describe my needs, so I didn't have to worry about forgetting anything day-of. She also asked a bunch of questions before we started and really listened to what I wanted (low daily maintenance but still emphasizing what I love about my hair). Throughout the cut she checked on so many details I would not have thought to mention but definitely do affect how my hair changes throughout the day/week. I'm a few days in and really happy with the hairstyle!

I had a phenomenal experience here. Callie is amazing; I'm pretty sure she read my mind to create exactly the color and style I was looking for today. And the spot is like a hair salon meets an art gallery meets Meow Wolf! It's the wildest collection of pieces, textures, and colors, all curated by Callie and combined to make a space where I could hang out for hours. Even if you don't need a haircut, drop by just to see what's on display. Everyone is always welcome to stop by, not to mention it's part of the First Friday Art Trail! I can't believe this place is in Lubbock and I definitely recommend it in the highest possible terms!
