Customer Reviews
Juno Hair Salon has a rating of 3.7 out of 5 based on over 47 reviews on Google
I should have listened to the reviews. The man with the yellow hair cut my hair way too short. Why do hair salons seem to have a secret agenda against long hair? They ask how you want your hair cut, then do the exact opposite and give you a choppy, mid-length style you never asked for. Stay away from this place — it’s a $50 haircut for a reason, and not a good o
A wonderful experience. The staff is so nice and friendly! If you don't speak Korean, definitely bring a photo of what you want and they're happy to oblige you. My cut was perfect and quick!
Exactly what other reviews said. They have one price they will give you on the phone and a significantly increased price they tell you when there. Haircut was sloppy and completely uneven- and it was only a trim. Guy with the yellow hair even argued with me about the root color touch up I wanted, which is the color I always do. If I’m requesting a shade dark to medium brown, why insist on jet black, if it’s not what I want?! I was scheduled to also have highlights, but didn’t end up doing it because if he’s already arguing about a color to cover my white hairs, I don’t want to risk not getting what I’m requesting for highlights. Total waste of money. Do not waste your time or money and just go to a nicer salon. The prices in a nicer salon will reflect the atmosphere. They just want to charge high end prices (after lying about prices on the phone) at a small walk in type of hair place. Do not recommend!!
I think they do a great job for the price and in this economy, I’m all about a good value. I’ve gone twice here, once for a color job (all jet black, $100) and once for a cut ($50). Both services included a wash and blow dry/style that I enjoyed. I’ve spent $150 on cuts and $400+ on color at other luxury salons in ktown and honestly … I prefer a better value at Juno! I’ve always been treated with genuine kindness and interest here as opposed to more stuck-up shops. I would go here if you have Asian hair and want a more basic cut (think simple layers, bangs, etc) and all-over color. For something more complicated, trendy or edgy, I would go somewhere else. They’re also appointment only so make sure you call to book your slot! They will accommodate day-of appointments if possible.
you get what you paid for. be very cautious when coming here. had the worst time calling due to the hair dryer. that should’ve been my warning sign. i kept saying i want a blowout. please schedule me for a blowout. i arrive not only did they get my name wrong. i mention again a blow out and a bang trim. kind of what the last client had. she had a perfect feathered blow out look. so why just her? i too asked for that clearly. the hairdresser i didn’t even get her name soo yee or lee im not sure. applies a cream and goes straight for the hair straightener. i hear my wet hair sizzle… so i think okay maybe shes taming it and then she will add volume to start the blow out. WRONG she ONLY straightens my hair. now i have no volume, FLYWAYS, and my hair reeks of burned hair. at least add more hair product. very minimal and incorrect order. i also went during the summer no water was offered. the strip mall lacks parking often. i know they’re the more "affordable" option but not worth it. overhype from the internet as they too slowly creep up their prices. she completely gave me something else and did not trim my bangs. why would i go to a salon to straighten hair. a waste of $40 usd. im speechless as how someone heard blow out as = straighten my hair. not what i asked for. will not be returning. maybe if you communicate with them in korean you will find better results. but wow now my special event is ruined with this hair. i feel like its wispy
I found Juno Hair Salon on TikTok. This was my second time here for a haircut and it turned out amazing! Friendly staff and very reasonable prices for LA - $50 for a women's haircut and $30 for a men's haircut. I'll definitely be coming back.
rebecca is so nice!! the hair wash was so relaxing, and the work both stylists did was so thoughtful and well-done. i've never been this happy about a haircut! with a price of $50 (compared to others' $75 or even $100+), i highly recommend juno's hair salon!!
