Maeven did an awesome job with an updo - I sent her an inspiration photo in advance - came in with clean hair and was done in 40 minutes flat. My hair looked great for a black tie event and was just like the inspiration photo!

Lola did a fantastic job straightening my hair. I called for a blow out but after coming in and assessing my needs we determined that hair straightening would be better. She was efficient but took her time. She didn’t burn my hair or ears which used to happen to me all the time. The only criticism I have is curly hair needs to be combed from the bottom up. But even then she didn’t hurt me or hurt my hair when combing. When I need to get my hair straightened again I’ll definitely be back.

I was a first time patron. Maeven was very professional and had 20+ years of experience. She addressed all my requests and gave me a gorgeous cut. She also gave me tips on hairstyling since I expressed I am quite challenged in that department. She was very patient. I really appreciated that. One can tell she has a true passion about her profession. Way to go for a self-made boss babe! Street parking only. Shop is in an area of dtla that is bustling during the day but get really quiet after dark. I walked there at sunset for my appointment & ordered ride share afterward. She locked the door during our session and we had a great little chat while I waited for my ride. I recommend her service and would return for another hair cut session.

Melanie did a fantastic job on my Brazilian treatment ((at an unbeatable price)) and haircut!! The location is easy to get to on foot downtown. Melanie really listened to me and made sure to make me feel heard. She gave me great feedback and advice on how to manage my curly hair. I will definitely be returning to this salon and suggest you try it out as well!

Oh my gosh, go see Maeven! If you want to strut out feeling like a million bucks, this is the hairdresser for you! Maeven has been coloring my icy blonde for a few months now, but today we took it to the next level and added extensions. I feel like Sasha Fierce. She takes so much pride and care in what she does and will not let you leave until your hair is absolutely perfect. I love my new long hair, it is blended in just right. LA, if you love to be platinum and thought long hair was a pipe dream you need to make an appointment today and get the hair you deserve! There are no bad days when you look this good!

Paolo cut my hair and while I waited she made sure she checked in and made me feel comfortable. We talked about what I wanted done to my hair and Paolo made it happen and once that was done she styled it. I love the way it came out and I will definitely be coming back here.

I got my hair done here in May by a young asian woman— forgot her name. She was the only stylist available, so I let her work on me as I didn’t know what was to come. I went in for a U shaped cut and to get my hair curled. The girl used some weird techniques to cut my hair, but I assumed she knew what she was doing. My cut came out uneven, she barely cut anything at the bottom. When it came to styling my hair, she did the opposite of what the owner did. My hair needs a lot of product, and she applied very little. She also had to diffuse my hair in a downwards motion, but instead she kept blowing my hair upwards… causing it to go everywhere. I have 2C hair. So my hair literally looked like I had curls, but I had gotten into a jumper, bounced around and then slept in them. I told her I wanted curls and she gave me a mess. I even asked her if that’s all she could do and she said yes. It wasn’t until the owner saw me almost get out of the chair when she came to the rescue. If she hadn’t, that look coming out of her salon would’ve been extremely embarrassing. Anyways, the owner saved the look, I would caution you to get your hair done by the other woman. Added a star for the quality of products used.
