I've been a customer here for nearly a year, but I've never left with a haircut that matches the photos I've shown Tim, the hairstylist. He cuts the hair with his preference. No matter what photos I’ve shown him. My hair often ended up looking uneven, and it felt like he's more focused on himself than on taking care of his customers. Even when there's water dripping after a shampoo or a bunch of hair on my face from the haircut, he doesn't seem to care. Tim often advises me to arrive early for my appointments, but I consistently end up waiting longer than expected. Their mid-aged Korean lady is always busy chatting with her friends. Instead of allowing customers to sit and wait inside, she had me wait outside bc ‘her friends’ were taking all the seats. Don’t even expect any kind of service at this place. It’s funny how they were never on time with appointments but no apologies what so ever. This guy named Tim seems to only care about his ‘big clients’ who tip him a ridiculous amount, like 25%. Honestly, I don’t quite understand why I should tip for a haircut when I’m already paying for the service. I’ve been tipping at least 20%. I started with 15% at first and then moved to 20%, but no matter how much I tip, I haven’t seen any improvement in the service quality. This guy Tim needs to be more organized himself. He’s selfish and all about himself. He doesn’t even say thank you. How about care about your customers at least fairly or don’t accept ones. Not coming back. A mediocre small shop placed inside. Check on their one-star reviews. Customers don’t lie.

A few months ago, I got a perm from a different hair salon, and that absolutely damaged my very thin hair. Luckily, I found Currie K Hair Studio. I received their special hair treatment a couple of times, and now my hair is shiny and healthy. I couldn't be happier about the results. I also love that they use only the best and latest hair products, and their hair stylists are very skillful as well.

I recently bleached and dyed my hair at home while I was already in need of a haircut. The woman who cut my hair did an outstanding job and was meticulous in her work. After washing and cutting my hair, she checked over everything again in great detail, trimming the straggling split ends. I have curly hair, so finding a place that knows how to cut my hair is next to impossible; this however is the best haircut I've ever gotten. Seriously, thank you so much, you did an incredible job! After seeing it completely dry I feel guilty, like I underpaid, and tipped 42%
