Kaelin is my hairstylist and she works magic every time. This is my hair before and after each visit. Kaelin is so kind, she takes notes of my hair goals and recommends me products so I can achieve long healthy hair between visits with her. After my first visit with Kaelin I vowed to not give myself a diy haircut or dye at 2am anymore. Thank you Kaelin for bringing my hair back to life!!

I’ve been to this salon several times. Kaelin worked magic on my hair. She has always made me felt welcomed and comfortable. She took the time to listen to exactly what I wanted and offered great suggestions. The cut and color turned out better than I could have imagined. She does great blow outs as well. Highly recommend sitting in Kaelins chair to anyone looking for beautiful results!

I booked and paid for a luxury balayage/blonding service and was extremely disappointed with both the result and how the situation was handled afterward. Especially after I paid $270 dollars. During my consultation, I clearly communicated — and provided multiple inspiration photos — that I wanted dimensional, ribbon-like balayage starting lower (around ear level), not highlights from the scalp. I also stated that I was willing to return for multiple sessions if needed to maintain hair health. Instead, I received a full head of highlights starting at the scalp, which is not what was discussed. The placement and overall result do not resemble my inspiration photos. Afterward, when I asked why a hand-painted balayage was not performed, I was told that the salon’s approach is for stylists to do a full head of highlights followed by a root smudge, rather than a traditional hand-painted balayage. While I understand that similar looks can sometimes be achieved using different techniques, I was under the clear impression that I would be receiving a hand-painted balayage, not a full highlight service. I shared the outcome with multiple licensed hairstylists on my social media, all of whom agreed that the service performed does not reflect what I requested. After raising my concerns respectfully, I was repeatedly told the look could be "easily fixed" with a root smudge and toner, despite my concern being about incorrect placement, not tone or brightness. I also became uncomfortable returning after seeing over-processed hair breakage in the brush. I requested a PARTIAL refund for the blonding service since the service provided did not match what was agreed upon. This request was denied solely because the service was considered "completed in full," even though it was not the service I asked for. Instead, I was pushed to return for corrective services at a salon I no longer felt comfortable trusting. For a business charging premium prices, I expected clearer transparency, accountability, and client care. I would strongly recommend future clients get explicit confirmation of the technique being used and understand that refunds may not be offered if the outcome differs from what was discussed.

I recommend Kaelin Izabelle so much!! She has done my makeup to hair wash to blowouts/ curls to cutting my hair this summer. My hair has looked so much healthier and shinier after leaving her chair!! Her work is amazing and appreciate so much time she spent on making sure I left feeling beautiful. Thank you Kaelin and Salon by Kat 🩷🩷
