I came in wanting a mix of balayage and highlights, and he really understood what I wanted. The color came out super natural and blended perfectly. He also took great care of my hair, so it didn’t get damaged at all. I’m so happy with the result! Gina, the manager, was very kind and welcoming. The shampoo and scalp massage were amazing too! I’d definitely recommend this salon.

Edit Sept 2025- just wanted to say my original review from 10 months ago was for Hair Wizard. I believe this place has changed owners and staff and is now called Hair Studio. I have not been to this new establishment so my review no longer applies. If anyone knows where Amy went, let me know! Thank you ------- Needed a new salon and I'm glad I stumbled upon this place! Absolutely loved the cut Amy gave me. She could tell I previously permed my hair and I mentioned that it was too high maintenence. She gave me layers so that it'd be easier for me to maintain my perm instead of chopping it all off. Think I found my new go-to!

I’ve been getting my hair done by Peter for over seven years, and this was my first time getting a perm since he opened his new hair studio. As expected, the perm turned out beautifully. Peter was as accommodating as always, and the rest of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

I came in with reference photos and explained exactly how I wanted my haircut, including asking that the back not be cut too short because my hair sinks. Instead of listening, the owner, Peter, reacted defensively and said it was disrespectful to mention how other barbers have cut my hair. That attitude felt arrogant and unnecessary, especially for a first-time customer. Throughout the appointment, he made comments implying that customers lack manners and repeatedly brought up having worked at "high-end" shops, as if that excused ignoring what I asked for. The final result still didn’t match what I requested. Before the cut, I was told the price was $35. Afterward, I was charged $40 because scissors were used. When I questioned this—since my friend sitting next to me also had scissors used and was only charged $35—I was told to stop complaining. The pricing felt inconsistent, and the overall experience came off as dismissive and unprofessional. I won’t be returning.

really disappointed with my experience at this place. I came in with an idea of the haircut I wanted and explained it specifically, but the result was not close. The cut was uneven and didn’t match what I asked for at all. Peter was the one who cut my hair and I don’t know if he was high or in drugs when cutting my hair. But it looked like he was on something, this made me really uncomfortable the whole time. I tried to explain my concerns during the it, but it felt like they weren’t really understood or addressed. Peter seemed rushed and didn’t take the time to fix the issues properly.

If you wanna cut don’t go here the place overall is not bad, but Peter is inexperienced. He kept bragging about cutting famous artist hair and said I was ugly. This was ironic because he wasn’t too good looking. He himself brings this barber shop down and I would definitely not recommend this shop to anyone!!!

I cut my hair for the first time at Hair Wizard a day ago, I must say that I love my new hair cut, I am in love with my hair again! In the little neck area it is one of the few salons that is open on Sundays, which is a plus since some of us only have that day off during the week to pamper ourselves a little, the customer service was great, extremely attentive and friendly, I showed Kelly a picture of the hair cut I wanted and the result is quite similar, I loved it and I have received many compliments and been asked a lot who cut my hair, I would recommend this salon to my family and friends, 5 stars
