I had an incredible haircut and styling session at _The iki Movement_ in Lexington. From the moment I walked in, the energy was calming and welcoming—clean, modern decor with plenty of plants that added to the relaxed vibe. Brad (they/them) was my stylist, and they were fantastic. I didn’t come in with a specific inspiration, but I completely trusted their vision—and they delivered. The result was a fresh look that helped pull me out of my usual hair slump, a style I hadn’t tried before. I’ve gotten compliments ever since, even from strangers! The whole experience felt thoughtful and luxurious. It included guided breathing, a relaxing shampoo and conditioning, plus a face serum and roller treatment that left me feeling completely pampered. Brad made it easy to ask questions and offered clear styling tips so I could maintain the look myself at home. I also learned they’re happy to share product or supplement advice if you’re interested—without ever being pushy. I’ve already recommended The iki Movement to friends, family, and my roommate—who all go now too—and I’ll absolutely be returning. If you're looking for more than just a haircut, this is the place.

I've been going to Iki Movement for a little over a year now (followed my favorite hair slinger Brad Love there) and absolutely love the vibe they have going! This isn't just a haircut, it's an experience - (literally - it's also a wash/condition, nose wax, some other fancy cold roller thing, some lovely essential oils, etc.)!

Unlike any other salon I’ve been to, in the best way. The shoulder/neck/head massage, aromatherapy, luxurious hair wash, eyebrow waxing—all included!—really made it an experience. They use the best products, Davines, which smell and feel so great. I’ve never left a salon feeling so pampered. Ashton executed my haircut perfectly, exactly as I had imagined. She’s the first hairstylist to work with my natural texture through the cut and styling. I normally dread having to get my hair cut, but for the first time, I can’t wait to go back!

I enjoy the extra pampering that comes with the services. These folks always have a great attitude and are very skilled at what they do. I've always left feeling great about how my hair looks and feels!

the [iki] movement is the coolest place I have ever gotten my locks cut. Not only was Anna super sweet BUT she gave me the best haircut I have ever had!! I will be getting all future cuts there.

If you’re looking for a salon that understands the assignment-this is your place. Brad and Anna were a dream. I walked in with a terrible haircut and a worse color correction from another salon. Brad and Anna knew from viewing my skin tone and eye color the perfect chocolate brown! A facial assessment was done for the perfect haircut to accentuate facial structure. I’m hooked. This place is amazing! From the moment you take a seat you are experiencing total pampering. The head massage is fabulous; the weighted blanked while having your hair washed is a bonus I wasn’t expecting. The waxing included with your service was a surprise. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants the best experience, the best color and the best haircut!!!
