Woodhouse Spa - Leawood

My husband booked us a couples massage followed by side-by-side facials so we could enjoy the experience together. I truly wanted this to be a relaxing, special visit. To start, my husband had an excellent massage with Courtney. She was warm, communicative, and walked him through everything. She checked in about pressure and comfort and made the experience feel thoughtful and professional. He felt very well cared for. Unfortunately, my massage experience with Destiny was VERY different. I was not asked about preferred pressure, comfort level, or table warmth (my bed warmer was never even turned on). From the moment she walked in, both me and my husband registered that something was off… almost like she did not want to be there. At one point, I told my therapist that a technique was painful and I apologized for saying something. She softly laughed and said it was "intentional." That response felt dismissive and left me uncomfortable rather than supported. The lack of communication and attentiveness significantly impacted my ability to relax. The facials, however, were wonderful. The two estheticians who worked with us were top-tier — attentive, kind, and clearly skilled. They created a calm, welcoming environment and delivered an excellent experience. We were very impressed with their professionalism and care. Overall, the inconsistency between providers made the visit disappointing, especially given the cost and expectations associated with a spa experience. I hope this feedback is helpful, as there are clearly some outstanding team members there.

Woodhouse is such a lovely place. From the moment you walk in it is welcoming and cozy. Taylor is my go to esthetician. She does an amazing job with every facial. I love getting the Hydrafacial deluxe with a dermaplane. Also her massage is life changing. Cannot recommend Woodhouse or Taylor enough!!

I had a wonderful HydroFacial with Hana. She was very pleasant and knowledgeable, and before each step she explained what was about to happen and why. Her approach made me feel comfortable and well cared for throughout the service. I will gladly book another service with her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great Hydro facial experience.

My partner and I had a couples massage with McKenna and Nikolet and it was truly one of the best experiences we’ve had. They both created such a calm, welcoming environment, checked in with us about pressure, and paid attention to every detail. We walked out feeling lighter, relaxed, and genuinely cared for. If you’re looking for a thoughtful, high-quality couples massage experience, these two are amazing.

The locker room was super crowded and everyone in there was struggling to change without bumping into another woman. My therapist took me to my room right on time but then waited over 5 minutes to start my massage so I ended up only receiving a 45 minute massage instead of 50. When I went to check out there were 8 staff all hovering behind the counter (why so many?!) and after confirming the cost, the staff checking me out then asked me how much I wanted to tip and announced that standard was 20% instead of privately turning the screen around to allow me to confidentially submit an amount. It felt very shaming and rude. My massage was very good but these other factors really detracted from the experience. I'm not sure that I will return.

Just had the most amazing and relaxing facial with Jessica! She was super nice and explained her recommendation for the type of facial. The scalp and shoulder massage was awesome and added to the facial experience.

I always have a nice, relaxing and enjoyable time here. The scent upon arrival is relaxing enough and you're greeted by friendly staff who take you to the changing room and relaxation room. The moment you turn the corner behind the desk, the lights are dimmed perfectly and you naturally start to unwind. I typically get massages at Woodhouse and all have been excellent with various massage therapists. You can't go wrong here!
