This another newly discovered BLACK OWNED GEM in the valley. Mo is amazing with her knowledge of hair, willing to educate you and demonstrate EVERYTHING she has shared. The shampoo alone was BEYOND FABULOUS. Her hands are anointed for real. The products she recommended she had available in the store attached to the salon. Making an appointment is not difficult because reading is fundamental. If you are dealing with breakage and/or want to have better understanding of the phase your hair is in, MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, keep your phone out to take notes as you continue the path of healing and self-care with no guilt. Tell her Simone sent you. Blessings
I found Mo's Hair Factory online. My husband needed his hair done badly. Mo had great reviews on Google, so I recommended him to go there & I made the appointment. He told me that she is very personable & kind. He said he'll be going back for sure & he'd like to try the other stylist. He says both of their look great.
What happened to "customer service ?" On 9/11/21, I had an appointment in Henderson and saw this beauty store across the street. Out of curiosity, I decided to check it out. Like several beauty stores here in Nevada, operate a dual business (e.g., selling hair products, accessories, cosmetics, and provide an array of other hair services). This shop/store’s customer service is terrible! Now, anyone who knows me knows that if I complain, it must not be good. I purchased several cute cosmetics (accessories) totaling $74.68. One item was a wooden ring. When I got home, the ring had split down the middle. It sucks, but I called the store to see what the protocol was for a defective item. I was told to hold! Okay, after being placed on hold for 4 minutes, a store representative informed me to send a picture of the item and provided a specific phone number. Simple right! This is the response I got from them, quoted, " I sell these often and own one. I can't take back damage good. My policy is exchange only within 7 days. Sorry for any inconvenience. Now, granted, I don’t care how many you’ve sold, nor that you own one, "NO" two items are the same. Like I stated at the beginning of this message, "what happened to customer service?" I’ll share this post across numerous social networks and hope this business learns to value "All" customer (s) because you never know who the customer may be!
This post is long overdue: Last year I went on Trip for my anniversary. Mo is always professional and good at problem solving because ya girl didn’t bring enough hair. She has a fully stocked hair supply store next to the salon which makes it super convenient! Anytime I want my hair in a braided style I will always come to this shop!
Christian did a great job with my hair. The hair appointment was quite expensive; however, I must state all of the facts. (keep reading) Moe allowed me to come in at the last minute on a Wednesday evening (after the other woman flaked); she called around until she found an employee/fellow hairstylist who was willing to come in and do my hair at the last minute; her name was Christian and she washed my hair, recolored my hair, and then restyled it! And as much as I'd like to complain about the $265 I paid for this style, I think that it was ultimately worth it!! THEY SAVED ME!!! I did receive some compliments. I certainly couldn't have done it on my own or anything, even remotely close to it. I'm not a hair stylist! I almost neglected to mention the convenience of the location! On the day in question, I must have researched and called 10 or 15 locations that were all 35 to 45 minutes and further from where I lived. She was the only one close to me! Her shop was very clean, neat, and well organized. I don't think I saw one thing out of place. So yes: I will absolutely be frequenting this establishment. Great work!
She did an amazing job with my nieces hair. If you have thick or flowy or heavy or curly hair and looking for a good place to get your haircut without fears of someone getting it wrong this is the place to go. I got two haircuts with wash and some product to go for only $130.
My search for Rastafari braiding hair began at BSW. Beauty Supply Warehouse did not carry it. I had a store pickup at Tarjay in Henderson and googled the brand of hair and Mo's Hair Factory came up. I immediately called their store and found out they carried this hard to find hair. The price was very reasonable for 7 packs. The store carries a wide variety of products, in addition to a hair salon and has great customer service. After reading the reviews I am looking forward to having Mo, or whomever she recommends to do my next natural braid hair style.
