Highly recommend it, Ashley did my hair & it came out BEAUTIFUL!! She’s super sweet & the work she did with my hair is phenomenal. Also got to meet the owner, Larry. He’s super funny, definitely someone you’d want as your boss🤣 overall, great atmosphere & the aesthetic is super pretty, gives off a rustic vibe. Book with them!

Dimitri is truly the best! He has been doing my hair for YEARS and is the only person I trust when it comes to my hair. I wouldn’t go anywhere else! He’s educated, experienced and knows how to communicate when it comes to getting my hair exactly how I want all while keeping my hairs health and integrity in mind. 10/10

I went to Makeshift Union twice to remove toner and to fix my blonding and extensions and spent around $1,500–$1,600. While my stylist (Aysha) did a beautiful job, I did experience several issues with the salon itself. First, I was charged an additional $50 for a blowout that I did not authorize. It wasn’t discussed with me beforehand, and it was simply added to my bill. Clients should be aware of this and request clear pricing before services. Second, when my stylist left, I was not notified by phone. Instead, I received a text from Crystal saying she was ‘no longer available’ and that I was being reassigned to a new stylist — without being given any information about her experience, whether she performs extensions, or whether she is trained in the services I needed. As an extension client who had already purchased hair through the salon, I expected transparency, a call, and a proper discussion. The transition felt rushed and unprofessional, and my specific service needs were not taken into account. Because of these issues, I chose to take my business elsewhere. I hope the salon improves communication, pricing clarity, and the way they handle clients with specialized services.

Yes! Finally found a hair salon in Vegas that I love! I am a 40y man with long hair and needed someone who understands how to cut my perimeter without making my hair look like it belongs on a woman. Jen is absolutely amazing, listened carefully to my concerns and then explained very clearly how she was going to cut it. She delivered above and beyond! Not to mention the mind blowing head massage I got when she washed my hair. Oh and the place also just looks cool. You can’t go wrong with Jen and Makeshift Union!
