Absolutely obsessed with my experience at this salon! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, cared for, and truly listened to. The attention to detail, professionalism, and talent are unmatched. My hair has never looked or felt better healthy, beautiful, and exactly what I envisioned (if not better!). The atmosphere is relaxing, clean, and uplifting, making the whole experience feel like self-care, not just an appointment. I always leave feeling confident and refreshed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-tier service and amazing results. I wouldn’t trust my hair with anyone else! I highly recommend Shirley!

I don't leave reviews... But for this place I made an exception. I had a terrible experience at and feel completely let down. I came in for a consultation and was recommended specific extensions by the stylist. At no point was I told that the hair would need to be toned, dyed, or treated in any way to match my natural hair. I trusted their professional recommendation and paid $632.40 for the hair and installation. Once the extensions were installed, they looked nothing like my hair color — the mismatch from the back was embarrassing. I went back to the salon and they offered to tone the hair for free, which barely made a difference. I left for vacation the next day and spent the entire trip wearing my hair up because it looked so unnatural. When I returned, I went to their sister salon where a stylist initially promised to dye the extensions and "make it right." Hours later, they revoked the offer and told me I'd need to pay more — the first time anyone mentioned that dyeing the hair was even an option. Worse, the way the extensions were installed caused damage to my real hair. I’ve since had to remove them myself and now need to seek treatment to fix the condition of my own hair. The extensions themselves looked used and poor in quality — nothing like what I was promised during the consultation. I’ve had no resolution after multiple visits and attempts to work with the staff. I’ve filed a chargeback with my credit card company and submitted documentation of everything. I would not recommend this salon based on my experience — the lack of transparency, professionalism, and accountability was incredibly disappointing.

I am beyond disappointed with my experience at Hottie Hair Salon and Extension Shop. I had an extension installation done by stylist Lesley, who, while friendly, clearly lacks the skill and experience needed for this type of service. The results were incredibly subpar, and it was obvious that the work was not done professionally. I requested a refund for the service (not the hair, which I was fine with), but after multiple attempts to resolve this directly with the owner, I was repeatedly denied. Their excuse? A strict "no returns" policy. I find it completely unacceptable that the salon refuses to take responsibility for poor service and is more concerned with sticking to a policy than ensuring customer satisfaction. This was not a product return, it was a service that was poorly executed—and there’s no policy in place for when a service fails to meet basic professional standards. The owner’s refusal to even consider a refund is incredibly frustrating and shows a complete lack of pride in their work or respect for their clients. I shouldn’t have to take this matter further, but after being repeatedly ignored, I’m now forced to share my experience here and on other platforms to warn future clients. To make matters worse, when I went to a different stylist in Spokane to have the extensions corrected, she was appalled by the results from Hottie Hair Salon. She immediately took photos and said she would’ve demanded a refund if she were in my shoes. This is not the kind of service or professionalism I expected from a salon charging these prices. I strongly urge others to think twice before trusting this salon with their extensions. The lack of accountability is truly disappointing. Also they offered to help pay for the reinstall and I agreed but still NOTHING has been sent back to me. They also tried to blame me that I somehow untied the back of my head with one hand, maybe two I don’t know what she was assuming, but just argued with me and was very unprofessional rather than owning up to anything that may have happened. So this was a very, very, very bad experience. Also, the environment was very hostile due to all over their hairstylist, talking about the owner and how much they dislike her. Just a terrible place to be. I as a business owner am appalled at my experience and the lack of professionalism provided by hottie hair salon. If a client came to me and spent that amount of money, I would definitely hear them out and refund them practically everything. She should be ashamed of her salon and work ethics.

I had an amazing experience here! Shirley did such a good job giving me exactly what I wanted. The final result of my hair came out perfect, not to mention, the customer service was fantastic. She was super easy to talk to and gave great recommendations. I will definitely be coming back for my upkeep!

Amazing place to go for hair extensions. Everyone is so nice here. Really good pricing here. Jenna is the girl that did my hair definitely asking for her next time I come. She did my hair so beautifully and gave me exactly what I asked and very family thank y’all:)

I booked an appointment for a root touch up and weft sew in extensions and Miriam did an amazing job and I'm beyond happy with my experience. She did a great job explaining the products and process! I highly recommend this place. They were very professional and and I look forward to my future visits with Miriam!

I went in for a haircut today — my last one was back in October 2024, so everything had grown out and lost its shape. Miriam was the stylist who helped me. It’s always a good day when you leave the salon with a great haircut, but leaving with both a great haircut and a real feeling of care — that’s what it’s truly all about, in my opinion. Any anxiety I had walking in was completely gone by the time I left, and I walked out genuinely loving my hair. Thank you Miriam for styling me— 🦋
