Marilyn did an excellent job with my grandma who suffers from Dementia. Not only was her knowledge of perms and color great, but her kindness and respect towards my grandma was excellent. My grandma was smiling the whole time. Marilyn treated her with dignity and respect. Thank you!! I also appreciated that we were able to break up the services so that my grandma received her color and perm in different appointment times so that no damage occurred to her hair by over processing. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

On 2/15/25 I booked a long haircut, wash, dry and style with Sandy. I was happy to get a same day appointment but this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. My hair was down to my bottom before and I wanted to cut about 3-4 inches off to remove the dead. She showed me how much hair she’d be taking off and we agreed. However she took off way more than we discussed and made my hair so much shorter than I wanted. I never wanted layers and she went ahead and added horrible layers anyways. I came into the salon and was seated in her chair. She started to cut it dry which I thought was weird since I booked a wash and style. During the haircut I kept commenting how short it was and she just kept agreeing saying "it’s okay because now it will grow." I was upset the entire time and when she finished I commented again that it was way shorter than she initially showed me it would be. Then after the dry cut she tried to get me to pay and leave and reminded her I booked a wash and styled. She seemed awkward at this point and it was obvious she wasn’t of sound mind. Anyway she washed my hair and finished the service and I left. I hate my hair. Today was the first time I straightened it and you can see clear as day how horrible it was cut. Do not recommend this salon and stylist.

I had a great time talking to one of the hairdressers(Marilyn) yesterday! She was so nice and sweet but the hair cut was bad. I ask for a certain haircut and showed her the pictures but I was completely disappointed from the results. I told her how short I want the bangs, and how I wanted layers. It wasn’t styled properly and make it look like I had straight hair with chopped ends that were 100% uneven. I tried to show her a lot of times how I wanted with layers and bangs but I was really afraid for her to messed it up. I didn’t have the time to stick around to talk to the hairdressers due to my boyfriend graduation from nmsu and I had other important things to do. I wish i could get a refund(would be awesome) cause the hair cut made me cried and looked bad from the bottom. I would love for the hairdresser (Marilyn) keep the tip due to her being really sweet but hurt from the hair cut.

Great service and atmosphere, greatly enjoyed my pedicure with Asia. Also, I really love my color and cut, Nova did an AMAZING job. She was very kind, loved her attitude and will be back whenever possible 😀

Shonique has been my only stylist for eight years…when I first moved here. She always does exactly what I ask for. I have changed my cut and style several times and I’m never disappointed. She also colors my grey hair and adds highlights and lowlights ( a little red.) I constantly get compliments like "I love your hair!" I love my hair too and I enjoy every appointment with Shonique.

Salon 3 is our go-to for haircuts for our entire family. The staff is fantastic and the level of professionalism leaves nothing to be desired. Shonique has been the one cutting our hair and she is a real pro. However, any of the staff can give you exactly the look you desire. The salon is very welcoming and the atmosphere is always cheerful and fun. We would recommend Saon 3 to anyone seeking professional beauty services in Las Cruces.

Marilyn did an excellent job on my highlights. It was exactly what I wanted and was the best highlights I’ve ever had. She was very nice and listened to what I wanted. I would highly recommend her services.
