JCPenney Salon

I went here because it had a lot of positive reviews. Unfortunately my experience was not good. I went to get my hair colored, the lady that did my hair was not friendly and ended up burning my hair. She left me with the foils for a long time and added more bleach because she said it wasn't lightening up fast enough which resulted in super burned hair. I went in with beautiful long hair and came out with burnt smelling fragile dry hair. Time has passed and it's still damaged and dry. I wasn't going to post this but I feel it's the right thing to do so people don't go through what I went through.

I really wanted to leave a review with the survey code provided on my receipt but waited too long so now I’m here. I went in not really knowing what to expect because I hadn’t cut my hair in over two years. I was really nervous. My hair was down past my butt and all one length. I had no idea that what to do with it. Thank you so much Trier for your taking your time and literally making me feel like a brand new person. Trier was very sweet the whole time and even cut in baby steps to see if I liked the length, which was cool because in the past they just chop. I usually don’t get my haircut that often but Trier made this experience really comfortable for me and I can’t wait to see her again! She’s amazing!

Alyssa did my hair and always does an amazing job. I have got a bob a few times and also a perm always love the results! She is willing to take the time to make sure I love my haircut also. FABULOUS! Easy to call and make an appointment with their friendly front desk. Only thing that sucks is you have to walk all the way through the store to get to the salon. The doors next to the salon are permanently closed. But doesn't hinder the salon's ability!

I went in as a walk in around 11am. I didn’t realize the salon opens at 10am. Anyway it was already pretty busy and full of good vibes. The girls were dancing, singing, and having fun. Brianna did my hair. I was a manic panic red and she got me to a beautiful Ashy blonde with gorgeous highlights. All in one visit. She was upfront and honest with me the entire time. All of the stylists seemed to work well together and help each other out! She really took her time on my hair and has a true passion for what she does. I’d definitely recommend this place and I’d be happy to return for my touch up. I was literally prepared for the worst after a few bad experiences at other places. Super happy to say I didn’t go home crying and my hubby was very pleased. Thank you Brianna your the best 🙌🏼🤩

My first time ever leaving a beauty salon with messy hair, not even combed after being under a blow dryer for quite a bit. No doubt that Laverne is a good master stylist but she lacks professionalism and compassion. She colored my hair, rinse and trimmed but during the process another customer came and told her to stay because she was almost done. She told me that she will set me under the blow dryer because my hair is long and thick while her other customer’s hair is short and thin. Ok, I agreed to that and she started cutting her other customer’s hair and rinsed it but 20 minutes passed and my scalp is getting too hot so I need to adjust the machine. I even told her I’m going to use the restroom to catch her attention but it didn't work. So I went back under the blow dryer and yes my hair is long and thick and is all dry and fluffy. As I was watching her she started doing foil highlights with her customer and she totally abandoned me. She didn’t even check on me not even once while I was in the dryer. I felt so frustrated so I got up and told her I’m leaving and all she said was "I’m sorry" . She didn’t look me in the eye, she didn’t even ask for an apology or try to make up, rather she just continued her conversation with her customer like I didn’t exist!. She charged me $115 for the unfinished service, Of course I still gave her a tip because I am not like her and I understand the value of hard work. When my husband saw me she was twice as disappointed because it was his post-valentines gift for me but was a disaster. I made this review not to destructively criticize Laverne but to remind her that Everybody is Somebody like what JCpenney salon promised "There is no one more you, than you. You are there to help and if We shine, You shine!"

I had a great experience here, Xena was very thorough and helped me have the hair cut and color that is best for me! I showed her photos and asked her opinion, she has really great style and a lot of experience with coloring and different textures of hair. The way there are so many different stylists here I’m sure you will find what you are looking for. It was nice to see people of all ages and walks of life in one place having services done together, they do take walk ins

Horrible horrible service. Brought my daughter here to get a haircut. Who I’m guessing is the manager was gossiping about other employees, just plain rude with and attitude and my daughter got a horrible hair cut I am so unhappy and will never be back this place is so toxic and un professional. I will never ever wish the things she was saying on anyone.
