I went to Dominican Hair Solutions for a trim, requesting only my ends be cut, as I was preparing for my father’s funeral. My hair was healthy and past my lower back prior to the appointment. Despite my clear instructions, the stylist cut significantly more hair than I authorized, leaving my hair mid-back. This was extremely upsetting, especially during a very difficult time of grief, and it caused me a lot of emotional distress. I provided photos and a video showing the difference in length and even sent a message during the appointment stating, "It’s only supposed to be my ends cut." I requested a full refund but the salon refused and showed no concern for correcting the mistake. I would strongly caution anyone considering this salon to be very careful. They did not respect my wishes, caused unnecessary distress during a sensitive time, and have no regard for fixing problems.

Juana, the owner, cut my hair and she is truly amazing at what she does. She listened carefully, knew exactly what would work best for my hair, and executed it flawlessly. The cut is beautiful, clean, and styled to perfection — easily a 10 out of 10. You can tell Juana has years of experience, skill, and genuine passion for her work. On top of that, the atmosphere was welcoming and professional, which made the whole experience even better. If you’re looking for someone you can trust with your hair, Dominican Hair Solution is the place, and Juana is the one. I will absolutely be coming back and recommending her to everyone I know! My first time there was great... but this time I said no to a hair cut twice maybe even 3 times.. Rafie guilty me into getting a hair cut and proceeded to answer a phone call while cutting my hair and cut one side higher then the other and pretended like it didn't even happen. Told me to stop moving my head.... idek... Edit: today I noticed he didnt even fix where he cut to much from my hair.... the chunk of hair there is exactly where he answered the phone and over cut my past where we agreed upon. 85 dollars plus tip ..... I'm sure the other ladies do a good job but beware

I have previously visited this place for hair straightening and was very satisfied with the results, which is why I chose this salon for a hair color. My hair was a golden blonde, and I selected a color from the chart provided that appeared to be a close match. However, my hair turned out a very dark brown, which was not at all what I intended or desired. I am extremely unhappy with this outcome and will now have to incur additional costs to have it corrected elsewhere.

Had an Absolutely AMAZING Experience 🤩 with Adriana 🥰🫶🏻 She Gave me the Exact Haircut I wanted literally exactly the way I imagined it!! Getting so many compliments and my hair feels extremely silky and so beautiful!! I love it!! If I could rate 100 stars I would !!

I do advise anyone to visit this place. They have horrible customer service they will butcher your hair. It will not accommodate you in anyway to make it better.

Unprofessional experience. Hair was not styled the way I wanted it to be and now I explained it to the stylist and the salon refused to correct the mistake. Avoid if you care about your hair.
