I loved coming to this salon...until I didn't. I had a great experience with stylist Karheema, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. But after she left, I tried another stylist who did a two-strand twist with human kinky hair extensions. She was nice, but supplemented some synthetic Marley hair, which didn't match the original hair. The style wasn't exactly what I wanted, but I was willing to live with it. However, things took a turn when I requested a touch-up. I ordered more human hair to replace the synthetic parts, and the stylist agreed to do the touch-up. But while I was traveling, some extensions fell out, and I got ignored when I texted her. After washing my hair from the salt water when I went in the ocean, chunks of hair came out, and I reached out again - still ignored. When I contacted the owner, Margo, I expected a timely response, but it took almost 5 days to get a reply and that was after I had to follow up. The lack of professionalism and communication was shocking, especially since the salon's initial services I received were great. I'm disappointed that my hair didn't last even a week, and I'm out $155 plus tip. Unfortunately, this experience has left a bad taste, and I'm taking my business elsewhere. I'd recommend finding a new salon experience, as the inconsistency and lack of accountability are not worth the risk. Time, money and hair care is priceless. Seek better.

I went in there spontaneously and got greeted really nicely by everyone working there and the hospitality was super good. When it came to do my hair it was my first time ever getting cornrows so I didn’t know what to expect but they knew what to do with my hair and treated it amazingly. Left super satisfied and I recommend for anyone trying to get their hair done 👍.

I booked my appointment for 12 o’clock. I came on time and they told me that my braider was still finishing up with a client. So I waited in the lobby not knowing how long it would take for her to finish up that current client. I took the time and looked at the salon’s late policy, it turns out that they have a 15 minute grace period. So I told myself I would wait 15 minutes before I say something. I was distracted by the movie playing, and realized 38 minutes have gone by and no one has acknowledged me So I had to speak up and ask for a refund or something. While I was trying to get my problem solved with the receptionist, the braider had the nerve to come over and ask me if everything was OK. I hate dumb questions, the obvious problem is that 40 minutes has passed by And no one is doing my hair. 40 minutes ago, she could’ve communicated to me that she was backed up so I could’ve had a choice to either reschedule or come later, but that choice was taken away from me because of the lack of communication. if this salon hires only professionals, she should’ve been more than capable of letting me know at 12 o’clock that she wasn’t gonna finish anytime soon. If I’m not mistaken, she was done around 130 so I would’ve waited more than an hour to get serviced and that’s supposed to be acceptable? Another thing is when I booked the appointment, I put the inspiration photo of what I wanted in the comments section. I looked up jumbo box braids with curls on Pinterest and that’s what popped up. I booked for jumbo knotless, and they ended up charging me for large knotless. Once again they are the professionals, not me, I don’t know the difference between large, jumbo and medium. They should’ve communicated to me that I booked the wrong service so I could either change the service or change the style. But I wasn’t given that option. According to their policy, if someone is late by 30 to 45 minutes, they are charged an extra $30. My butt did not touch the salon chair until 12:47, so the same way they would’ve charged me for being late, they should’ve Given me the discount of $30 for them being late. I am overall happy with my hairstyle, and that a different braider came through for me but the customer service at this salon needs major attention.

Iris did a wonderful job on my son’s starter locs and explaining the process as well as aftercare. The other stylists were just as warm and accommodating. This salon is a hidden gem in Kissimmee.

I have been going to Styles by Margo for quite sometime. The customer service is always pleasant. Ketia, did my quick weave exactly how I wanted it and my hair was PERFECT. It was my first time getting service by Ketia. Thanks and I will be back.

Wow. Renee. So sweet and kind. My experience was lovely at this beautiful salon. Best braids I have ever had done and worth every penny. I’ll definitely make this place my normal go to. Renee is great and treats you with the utmost respect making your experience lovely. Fantastic work. Highly recommend!

I was informed of this establishment through a friend after a last-minute cancellation of a braiding appointment. Margo’s exceeded my expectations. I was able to schedule a late appointment for my daughter’s small knotless braids. The receptionist was exceptionally kind and assisted me in booking my appointment at the salon. The hair stylist, Karheema, was very kind, efficient, and patient while braiding my daughter’s hair. I could not have asked for a better salon, as my daughter was absolutely delighted with her hair. While the salon’s pricing may be higher, it is well worth it considering the exceptional work they provide.
