Salon Rae

Adam is my barber In this location, I’ve been cutting my hair with him for a while and I can say for my self that he is amazing at his job and really knows what he is doing, he has been very patient and nice to me for all the time I have been cutting my hair with him and he always makes my hard schedule fit on his calendar. Amazing work would definitely recommend.

Lyda was very nice but she cannot do a balayage. Everything went well until the bleach started coming out. When my hair was dried I was a bit in shock. She asked if I wear my hair straight or curly. I said straight. She said a balayage is for curly hair, if straight I should have asked for highlights. Which is simply NOT true. So I think she also knew it was a bad job. I asked for a partial balayage, it covers most of my head. It is so chunky and harsh throughout. I am going to have to find someone else to try a color correct because I do not trust this salon. I texted her later, a refund is not possible but she did offer to fix it.

If you are looking into going to Salon Rae, specifically Lily at Salon Rae, I urge you to please read my experience in the photos. I wrote a lengthy review because I wanted to have all of the details about what happened in it, and it was too long to write on Yelp so I took screen shots of what I wrote. This review is not necessarily for the salon itself, but for one stylist in the salon. I felt the need to post a rating and review for the salon because people need to know that this happened in this salon. This review is not made out of ill intentions, but primarily so no one makes the same mistake I did. The other stylist I had communicated with at the salon was fantastic and really helped, which I am so thankful for, but what was done should have never happened in the first place, especially for $240. I don't know if it was due to being in a rush, incompetency, or being tired, but there is no excuse for what happened. Please take a look at the photos of my hair and my story of what happened.

Alright, Kerrie is far and above the best in the business. She did the most amazing manicure ever, it was absolutely gorgeous and has actually stayed on for over two weeks now, no chipping (I am somehow extremely destructive and manage to chip all other manicures including gel and acrylic I within 48 hours). I am overwhelmingly impressed. Never go to another nail salon again - I certainly won’t!

Adam is an exceptional, accommodating and creative stylist. He has been cutting and styling my hair for 11 years now. I am always pleased with my haircuts. Recently, he moved to Salon Rae. The salon is clean, has great parking and great atmosphere. I highly recommend Adam and Salon Rae.
