Bella Sirena Salon

This experience happened years ago, yet I still remember every detail, and I even have a photo of the place. I’m writing this review because every time conversations come up about salons and hair, this memory comes back — and it still upsets me. I was very young at the time, and this was only my third time ever visiting a salon. I did not feel respected or valued. The stylist working on me left me in the middle of the service, went to attend to other clients, and told me to dry my own hair myself. She handed me a blow dryer and walked away. I felt embarrassed, confused, and invisible. Despite this treatment, I still left a $20 tip because I was young and didn’t know how to stand up for myself. It mattered then, and now it stands as a warning for others about what should never be acceptable — even after a long time has passed. The actions of others leave a lasting impact, and this is a reminder of that.

So happy I discovered Bella Sirena and Chelsey. I'd been searching for a while for a new salon and stylist for a while, after my stylist of 20+ years retired. I was so fortunate to have such a talented stylist for so long, my expectations are admittedly probably along the lines of ridiculous. Well, Chelsea delivered on my first visit. She listened and when I showed her an inspiration pic, which was of my fave hair color from a few years ago, she was totally willing to work to achieve it. And she did. She's like, oh, that's a pink gloss. Who knew? My hair looks stunning and she's explained to me that I don't need my highlights touched up every month as I did for years. Just a gloss, toner. I appreciate her guidance and my hair is healthier as a result. Chelsey is a talented stylist and wonderful to chat with. Also love the vibe of this Aveda salon.

Great experience! I got a keratin treatment by Chelsey and she did an amazing job and was so friendly. This is the best keratin treatment I have had. Emily was amazing as well! She is so helpful, professional, friendly and knowledgeable about hair! She has helped me figure out which treatment I need and how to take better care of my hair. She does an amazing job with hair extensions and will be very informative with what’s best for your hair type.

Kelsey is the sweetest and so talented!! She got me in last minute and stayed late since I have so much hair. After a long day of work, it was so nice to be immediately met with tea and essential oils. She created such a comfortable, non-judgmental environment with a mix of genuine conversion and comfortable silence (which I love because sometimes you just need to simply be). I’ve gotten my hair done at countless salons in the area, and this was affordable without compromising on quality. They also have some cute new members specials! I’ll definitely be back to see Kelsey next time I need my highlights done! 🙂 *Note: the only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because we didn’t get to fully dry or style my hair since it was late when we finished, so I did leave with slightly damp hair. I still appreciate everything though and will definitely be back!

I won’t ever come here again- hairstylists scared to perform color services and refuse to give a real reason why (I have been many years ago with the same stylist and have gotten a full non permanent color with virgin hair)- when I reasonably inquired as to why the only response I ever got was robotic I had 2 appointments and a consult scheduled to come in and when I called about them I was promptly told they were cancelled- first time I ever heard of that! Not even willing to try the test strands that they promised and giving up before even trying to see if my request might work. Had been a previous customer before and had a great time (4 services and hundreds of $$$)- this is unacceptable and not hard to simply tell your customer whether your salon doesn’t have the skill or is simply just want to turn away a customer because u don’t like them or some other reason. Nothing made sense- again no straight answer, well if yall can’t be mature about it and just tell me straight then I have no more respect for u as a person and I personally won’t be recommending you to anyone I know and I don’t want to come back. Don’t bother responding to this review if you can’t write/give any reason good or bad that makes sense.

I really liked my haircuts with Becca when I was doing short bobs. I wanted to grow it out and needed an appointment sooner than Becca was available, so I booked with Madelynn for a basic trim just to clean up split ends. I also asked for a bit of layering, but I feel like I just got two layers: one long one and one an inch shorter than that. I’m not sure if this is a certain kind of style, but it looks really chunky and weird to me. I thought the layers were supposed to blend into each other. I tried to wait it out to see if it would grow on me, but I think it just looks bad and now I’m outside the 10 day window for redos. Just a warning that the stylist can really make or break a $130 (after tip) haircut here.

Great customer service, and fantastic stylists. I recently visited Bella Sirena for the first time, unfamiliar with the team I wasn’t sure how things would go. Haley was my stylist and she is phenomenal. Her personality, friendliness, professionalism, and talent made for a great visit. The young lady at the front desk was great. She offered a refreshment upon arrival and was happy to schedule a future appointment before I left. I highly recommend Bella Sirena, and look forward to my next visit.
